After losing our reservation twice (how does this happen?!) we arrived to find MMI had no record of our reservation or a room. They eventually "upgraded" us to a ~1,250 sq ft condo that slept 8. We should have been suspicious...there was a reason this room wasn't booked...it was outdated, dingy and furnished like a North Korean prison. After a number of calls to American Express and the hotel manager we eventually were transferred to a room that was remodeled "recently" (like 1990). At this point we reserved ourselves to a weekend of painful experiences…we also had problems with the shuttle (being stuck in the cold!), wifi, the seemingly simple task of getting a humidifier delivered to our room, service at the restaurant/bar, and mis-billing upon checkout. I feel bad for the employees- management needs to invest more in Capital improvements and infrastructure. Mammoth Mountain Inn could be world class, but until then, avoid this place at all cost!
