My husband and I dined here for the first time this weekend. The Italian bread brought to the table was hot and crusty, served with olive oil (no spices)- very nice. We began with a special offering appetizer which we shared. It was veal stuffed pasta and it was delicious, in a rich tomato sauce. I had the seafood special which was roasted eggplant with diced swordfish over rigatoni pasta in light tomato sauce with a bit of mint which was very subtle. It was good, but the skin on the eggplant was tough and bitter. There wasn't much swordfish in the dish and that was a disappointment. I asked for some grated cheese to top it off, and the waitress seemed a bit tense about that. My husband had seafood stuffed pasta in tomato sauce. It was delicious. For dessert we split a cream puff, topped with chocolate mousse which was wonderful. The service was excellent, attentive and our waitress was knowledgable about the food. Our dinner reservation was for 6:30 on a Saturday night and there was only one party there when we arrived and another party came while we ate. It is a very small place that probably only seats 50 max, and it looks like a quaint Italian bistro with white linen table clothes and napkins, candles on the tables. Our total for dinner was about $60. It is BYOB with a $2.00 corking fee per bottle. We will definitely go back.
