The Hotel Bethlehem is a wonderful place to stay when you are attending any of the Bethlehem festivals. The hotel is a short walk from the fair grounds. The town is a treasure at any season. The hotel's staff is friendly & very helpful. The rooms are comfortable and the lobby bar is a great for a cocktail and a lite bite.

Hi Doc710,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We couldn’t ask for a better location. We are in the heart of Historic Moravian Bethlehem a National Historic Landmark District. Bethlehem has several festivals throughout the year and we are fortunate to be in the heart of most of them. Our specialty is hospitality. The Hotel staff strives to ensure that everyone feels welcome and has a wonderful time while they are with us. We take great pride in continuing the hospitality tradition in Bethlehem that began with the Moravians in 1741.

Thank you again. We hope to see you again this December!

My organization has used Hotel Bethlehem the past two summers for our annual Summer Administrative Workshop. We had about 125 people, and utilized both ballrooms, as well as all of the breakout rooms. The place and the people have been fabulous! The crew and staff were attentive, courteous and extremely professional. I worked directly with Jenny Laughlin, and she was tremendous. Our attendees loved the location of downtown Bethlehem...lots to see and do within walking distance.

We were determined to stay in downtown Bethlehem to experience the town on foot. We loved the location. The price was competitive with some of the chains. The lobby, bar and dining room were beautiful. The room was nicely appointed and clean. I would highly recommend this hotel if you wish to walk around downtown.

Hi jadams1016,

Thank you for sharing your recent stay with us. Your determination paid off. We are located in the heart of downtown Bethlehem. Part of downtown Bethlehem was just named Historic Moravian Bethlehem a National Historic Landmark District that encompasses 14 acres and is also home to the original Moravian settlement. It is one of only eight in the state of Pennsylvania. We are fortunate to have so much to do right outside of the hotel and within walking distance of almost anything you would want to do in Bethlehem.

We hope you join us again in the future. We would love the opportunity to welcome you back.

We stumbled upon this place after a very trying week while searching for a much needed getaway. The hotel was just what we needed. It has a definite charm. They kept the style from when the hotel was built (1920s I believe) yet they keep up on the place really well. Very clean and really beautiful. The rooms were large, charming, comfortable and again, clean…my favorite thing in a hotel 
We had 2 mishaps while there. First, upon check-in in we found that the room we reserved through Booking.com was not available. We booked a queen room and only doubles were left. Thank you 3rd party booking. But the staff at the desk was not only apologetic….they gave us vouchers for 2 drinks at the bar AND 2 vouchers for breakfast. We were quite pleasantly surprised. After we left I accidently left something behind in my room. My fault but an expensive item and I was rather upset about it. I called the hotel and at first didn’t get far, but after sending an email to the manager…well within 24 hours they had my item in the mail to me. (Thanks again!)
The hotel is set on a beautiful quaint street with all kinds of shops and restaurants, brick lined sidewalks…the whole trip was fantastic but we will say the hotel was a big reason we enjoyed. We will return at some point and highly recommend that if you are in the area, you stay as well!

Hi Scott_Nancy66,

Thank you for sharing your experience! We are certainly happy that you stumbled upon us. It is nice to hear that after a trying week you enjoyed yourselves while you were here and were able to get away. I would like to apologize that the room type that you reserved was not available when you arrived. We have reviewed our reservation procedures to ensure that it does not happen in the future. I am happy to see that our front desk associates assisted in rectifying it and you were able to enjoy a couple of drinks in the Tap Room and breakfast in the morning. I am also pleased to hear that we were able to get the item that you left behind returned to you. Our staff takes great pride in ensuring that each and every guest enjoys themselves while they are here.

Main st. in Bethlehem is a great place to walk around and take in the sites of Historic Moravian Bethlehem a National Historic Landmark district.

Please feel free to call us directly the next time you would like to visit Bethlehem. It will be our pleasure to welcome you back!

stayed for 2 nights and took the romance package which has to be booked over the phone. first tell waitress that you have the vouchers as the menu is different. very nice meal even though the hotel was booked for many weddings or events over the labor day weekend. lovely room but hardly any place to put your toiletries so we left most on the desk. our friends brought their dog who received dog food and handmade biscuits for a ONE time charge of $75. some places charge by the day. open field right next door with private lower lobby entrance for pets. a man on the street didn't know it was pet friendly so stayed near the airport and wanted to switch. small fitness room but more than enough.

our rooms looked out towards the lighted star on the hill. charming little town that has a hallmark Christmas lighting event. we also ate breakfast in the hotel which was included in the romance package. we only received a single voucher for breakfast and thought that wasn't very romantic - dinner for two but breakfast for one? turned out to be a small error which the waitress fixed. very charming town with large mansions from the old steel mill days.

Room Tip: our rooms faced the star on the hill that is lighted up at night. 422 and 426.

Hi melemike,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are happy to hear that you and your friends enjoyed your stay on the Romance package. Thank you for letting the gentleman that you met know that we are pet friendly. The rooms you were in do offer great views of the Bethlehem star on the South Mountain. They also overlook Historic Moravian Bethlehem a National landmark district. I would also like to apologize for the mix up with the breakfast vouchers. We have reviewed your comments with the Reservations manager to prevent that from occurring in the future.

Thank you again for choosing to stay with us. We hope to see you again!

Great friendly service and in an ideal location near lots of fun places to eat. It is truly a lovely, classic old hotel. Hotel Beth is our favorite place to stay while visiting our daughter who is a student at Lehigh University.

We have stayed there in the past and believe the Hotel has a delightful ambiance and is the perfect place to stay. The hotel is in downtown Bethlehem, a quaint and picturesque historic town. The location is great and if you appreciate history as I do you will enjoy this Hotel that was built in the 1920's. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the service was outstanding. The rooms are extremely clean and comfy. We were very impressed and would highly recommend this Hotel!
