“Great experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

This is my fourth stay at the Hotel Bethlehem. This experience was as flawless as the first three. We had the added pleasure of staying in the Christmas City on Christmas night. The festivities of the holiday were carried throughout the hotel in an elegant style. The staff was attentive to every little detail. Once again the room was topnotch. The mattress was so comfortable , I slept like the proverbial log and much later than my normal time to awaken in the morning. I was disappointed that I did not get the opportunity to eat in the restaurant but we were in town to be with family so I never had the chance. Every time I had eaten in the restaurant, visited the bar or experienced room service on my previous visits, it was alI super. I really enjoy the combination of elegance and history that this hotel provides.

definitively do the Sunday brunch well worth it

great little town for walking around shops and restaurants.

I will be staying at this hotel every time I am in the area.

First time there and already made another reservation. Best staff, best food, very accommodating and most comfortable rooms and beds. We loved the town right outside the hotel. Downside is the pricey brunch but you do get a lot of food to pick from.

Went to Bethlehem to attend a training conference, elected to stay at the Historic Hotel Bethlehem due to its proximity to the course and the discount provided by the group rate.
Right off main street, several brew pubs and restaurants in the area and easy walk to majority of attractions.
Historic hotel, overall well maintained. One of the elevators was out during my stay. Efficient check in, first impression of room was = very small, wall paper peeling off in several places and odor that seemed to permeate everything. Not awful, just aged. Plenty of hot water, good toiletries and HD flat screen, internet in room. Walls are thin, I'm a heavy sleeper so it wasn't a problem.
Everything was clean however, and the staff were very friendly and energetic. Great pub/restaurant in the lobby.
Overall I had a good experience, if I am ever required to go to Bethlehem, I would stay here again. However, I would not go out of my way to visit Bethlehem or stay at this hotel.

Hi WalterReed,

Thank you for choosing to stay with us during your conference in Bethlehem. As you mentioned one of our elevators was out of service. We are in the process of updating the mechanics so they operate quicker and are more efficient. The project will be complete in May 2013.

Thank you again for choosing to stay with us. If you are ever in Bethlehem again we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back.

I had a great stay at the Hotel Bethlehem. My first time. Had a great meal at the bar with very friendly people. Will stay again for sure. No ghost though. I guess that's a good thing too. The lobby area was historic and beautiful. Parking was not a problem either. Everything was really perfect.

Hotel has a midtown feel without the busyness of midtown. Presidential suite was great and did not have to go far to find great cusine offered by the hotel. Loved the shops which offered something for everyone in the family. Complimentary coffee and sugar bread in lobby was great. Sunday breakfast buffet a bit pricey and would have liked more equipment in the fitness center (no pool). Staff friendly. If you didnt know first Fridays are a big event in Bethlehem. Although was looking at Italy for this big birthday milestone, I would not have traded this weekend for anything. Thanks a bunch.

I return twice a year to this hotel, this time unfortunately neither to sleep or to eat but just to enjoy the bar and a lovely cocktail. I love the elegance and attention to detail. The restrooms for example are gorgeus and live up to their name. I was yet again disappointed to find that still the entrance porch and carpet have been totally overlooked. This area does not do justice to the rest of the hotel at all. Each time I come I hope that the entrance will be more inviting and will better "announce" this lovely lobby.
