I booked this hotel thru vacationist. It was clearly reserved as a king size room. When we arrived, the front desk guy was stunned by the price I paid and he was not happy about it(do not know why). I did not know he gave us a two double room until we moved all our luggage and opened the door. I immediately went down and requested a king room. I am not sure if it was we checked in too early ( 1 pm instead of 3 pm). At first the guy said this was the only type of room available. I said I booked a king room and I paid long time again. Luckily he "found" a king room for us and it is on the same floor.
The room was nice and clean. The only thing is the TV is way too old tube TV. I requested a fridge to store my son's formula etc while checking in. I was told there will be a $20 charge per stay. I said fine. But I was surprised to get a beat up rusty fridge (see pictures). I told the front desk but the lady just gave me a polite smile and said I am sorry without giving me any solutions. I still see this $20 charge on my hotel bill. I stayed in many other brand chain hotel before and they seldom charge me for such a tiny fridge and they were never beat up like this. I thought this a upscale hotel.
The two double room has a shower/tub combo but the king room is shower only and it is very small. The drainage was very slow and water were ponding while showering. I told the font desk lady and she promised that she will fix but it was not during our two day stay there. I hope they fix it before the next guest check in.
Room has a candy jar that my 2 year old son is very interested in. All the towels are made in turkey and toiletries from bath and body works.
