“Outdoors in the street better In Summer.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2013

The hotel Bethlehem has placed several tables outside on the walk in front of the hotel and tap room. What a delight to sit there in the evening and be served from the waitstaff who know the menu and know what they're doing. It's also nice to receive service as good outdoors as you can get indoors. Food was fresh the night was sweet and we really enjoyed the time there. This is a great spot!

“Great Food - Awesome Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

This is my favorite restaurant when traveling to the Harrisburg, PA area. Situated in the old part of Bethlehem, it has a lot of charm but with modern updates. The food is excellent and the service has always been great. I have had dinner and lunch (today Maris was the waitress) and never had a bad experience. Worth checking out... Mark

“Special Event Venue”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

We have been hearing about the Musical Sunday Brunch for some time on the radio and decided to book it for a Father's Day/Landmark Birthday celebration for 2. Despite a cast of thousands--unavoidable, given that the birthday coincided with this holiday--the Hotel managed crowd control quite well. We were seated--by request--in the adjacent, quiet and romantic 1741 Room, with its beautiful full-length windows. Our waitress, Maris, could not have been sweeter or better mannered. The pastry chef accommodated an advance request for a sugar-free dessert for the birthday man: A maple-flavored zabaglione arrived in a martini glass, garnished with a giant fresh strawberry. Counterbalancing the serving plate was a single lit birthday candle. Perfect. The buffet was unfussy, abundant, beautifully presented, and premium quality, notably the special holiday fish selections. A brie en croute was a personal favorite. As we were leaving, we noticed a special children's buffet to the side. The live music was a bit corny and unremarkable, and we were glad to be dining out of the main room, where the volume was a bit much. The dining experience, however, was worthy of the special event, as was the venue itself.

“Disappointing!!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

Went there for lunch with my sister. Her salad was so soaked with salad dressing that it was wilting. My grilled chicken sandwich filled half the roll, and the arugula was miniscule. However, service, was incredible and the server did her best to try to resolve things. I hadn't been in this hotel in over 20 years, and I will not be in a hurry to return to this restaurant.

This place lives up to its reputation.

Good food with a really nice atmosphere. The hotel is known for its history and has great conference accommodations.
