“Interesting area”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

The hotel is located in downtown Bethlehem. With that in mind, if you stay here, pull up first and unload your bags. You will then need to park across the street in a parking garage from the hotel. (the hotel will validate). There were about 12 people hanging outside the garage when we went to leave for the night. (waiting for a bus maybe?) We did not feel any safer coming back at 1am either.

The staff is polite. The room is what you would expect from a Hyatt. We had a king size room but there was no bathtub nor was their a curtain for the shower, just a half piece of glass. There is no way to NOT get water all over the floor.

The tv channels were minimal, but then again just killing time while we ate dinner until our concert started.

Room Tip: Ask for a tub with a curtain, not a half glass partitian!

Thank you so much for your review! You are certainly right, we try to encourage all of our guests to unload their luggage at the front of the hotel before they park in the parking garage across the street. Your parking fees are included with your hotel stay and you are free to enter and exit as many times as you would like. We'd also like to thank you for your kind words on the staff as well as the room setup. If you would like a room with a bathtub/shower please ask at check-in for a room with two Queen Beds. Our King Rooms have the more modern stand up showers with the half glass partition. We hope to see you again soon when traveling to the Bethlehem area! And remember just ask one of our friendly front desk staff for a room with two queen beds for the bathtub/shower!

Went there overr the Labor Day weekend. We only stayed there for 1 night. I have 2 young kids who love to swim and since the hotel has a pool, it was a win win situation. Unfortunately, during our stay, there was an situation with the pool being closed due to someone being ill that same evening. We spoke with the Manager on Duty- Ralph and he was kind enough to discount our room as we explained that the pool was our choice for chosing the hotel. My kids were able to use the pool in the morning before we checked out, so it worked out somewhat. Rooms were very clean, the decor was also very presentable. My kids loved having a flat screen tv to watch their favorite shows on.

We enjoyed our free breakfast. Parking is across the street from the hotel. I was a little leary of this, but it was fine. This hotel is in the historic section of town. We would definitely stay here again.

It's a such a shame that you came all this way to use our indoor swimming pool and there was a maintenance issue with it. When booking a hotel you make sure that the amenities that are included are what fits the needs of your stay. We can imagine what a disappointment it must have been when the pool had to be shut down. Hopefully you understand that it was also for your safety that the pool needed to be looked at. Next time you come give us a call, the pool will be waiting and ready!

I travel for business often and have been coming to the Lehigh area repeatedly over the last year. I have stayed at this hotel several times and am very happy with my choice each time. The hotel is clean and modern. The rooms are decently sized and quite comfortable. Wifi, parking, and breakfast are all included. The hotel is located down the street from downtown Bethlehem, which is quite charming. There are a few really good choice restaurants in the area. All these reasons make this hotel an ideal choice for me. The steel mill is a decent walk away, but during the day, it is a very pleasant walk.

We arrived just so tired from our trip. Check in was very easy; we were greeted by a very nice man who is the drives the hotel van. The gentlemen and ladies at the front desk were so polite.
The room was lovely and the bed was nice it was not to hard which is a plus for us.

It was nice that the hotel offered food off a menu; and it was nice after a long trip not to have to leave the hotel.

I have to say that the breakfast was delicious; the best I have had in a chain hotel.

I wish we would have time to explore the town; riding into the town it seemed very lovely.

The room was very big, clean and very modern.

The hotel in general was very clean and modern.

We would stay again; we would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: I don't think you will be disappointed if you stay at this hotel. It was lovely and the customer...

Our Gallery Host front desk team are the hidden gems of this property! They love what they do, and we are happy that you noticed. We're glad you were able to take advantage of the 24/7 Gallery Menu and didn't have to leave the hotel after a long day of traveling. But certainly make sure to explore the town of Bethlehem on your next visit- you won't be disappointed! Our friendly Gallery Hosts can point you in the right direction for food suggestions and shopping.

Stayed a weekend night for a getaway with my wife. We were both pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The rooms are very large and could easily accommodate more people if needed. Very happy the hotel offers free wi-fi and it worked all over. I would recommend parking in the circle and unlading before you park the car. They do offer free parking in a municipal garage across the street. The hotel validates the parking tickets for you, garage is well lit and has cameras for safety. I must also add the complimentary breakfast is wonderful. I would recommend this hotel highly.

Room Tip: Ice machines are near elevators, so if you are on an end room it's a long walk. The room did not...

My husband had to stay in Bethlehem for work so my children and I stayed as well. The Hyatt Place was exactly how it looked on the internet. Everyone was pleasant, check in and check out was a breeze, complimentary breakfast tasty and the children loved the pool and work out area. Wifi throughout the hotel worked well. The only BUT is parking. It free and you can come and go as you please but it's across the street a busy street. You have to be careful especially with children. Would I stay again? Absolutely :)

We stayed at the Hyatt Place for a weekend get together with friends. We each had a room with king sized beds, couch, mini refrigerator, large flat screen TV and ample room for stretching out. We were all pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of our rooms and how nice the staff was. The rates were more than reasonable. We had cocktails in their small informal bar before heading out for dinner. The bartender is also the check-in clerk, but that was completely fine as he was an excellent host. We had breakfast one morning at the hotel which was better than expected too. The hotel is in easy walking distance to many restaurants and the parking at the garage across the street is free with validation from the front desk. The beds were comfy and as I said, the room was very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that may be on the fence. I would return without a doubt!!

Room Tip: We had a room on the 6th (top) floor and it was nice an quiet!

That's right- our Gallery Hosts are front desk agents, Starbucks baristas, bartenders and cooks all in one! They have mastered the art of multitasking, and they perform their jobs so effortlessly. We are happy that you took notice to how hard they work, and how happy they remain! To hear that your group was commenting on the outstanding cleanliness of the room is so heartwarming. Our housekeepers work so hard day in and day out to keep our rooms tidy and clean! Thank you for your positive recommendation and we can't wait until you return!
