“Very slow service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2014

We had lunch here. We were the 3rd table to be seated and then waited....and waited. Our waiter was incredibly unorganized and seemingly uncaring that 10 tables of guests were waiting for food as he chatted with the other help. When our lunch came, the french fries were cold and the salad lukewarm, making us think that everything was just sitting, waiting to be picked up. I would suggest the management rethink their employee choices.

“Best in the Area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2014

The Bloody Marys in the Saloon were pricey (so is everything in Death Valley) but very good and the meals in the restaurant were spot on. Had dinner (chicken salad, cheese burger) and then buffet breakfast the next morning. All the food was tasty, reasonably priced, and service was very friendly. Would have no problem planning to eat and drink here again.

“Glad it was there”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2014

Average food. However we were starving and were so glad that it was there. If you are in the area and hungry stop in for a bite to eat. Service was slow when we were there.

“Burger and chicken tenders”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2014

There are few to no choice of places to eat in Death Valley. Waiters recommended everyone to get burgers and chillies. She claimed burgers were good. I think the reason is it's easier for the chef to prepare. Burger was a dry but I was glad I have food to eat. Service was slow but it's very tolerable. Food price is very reasonable consider we are far from civilization. I recommend my friends to eat here.

“Tasty food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2014 via mobile

The burgers they serve here are very good. As good (or better) than you would expect from a top rated restaurant in a big city. The beer is cold and fresh (DV Ale). What more can you ask? Seriously this is the best in-the-middle-of-nowhere restaurant I've ever been to. Don't miss it!
