“It may be cliche, but it is truly awesome!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2014 NEW

One look at this incredible natural wonder and you really start to appreciate the hardships our pioneer ancestors overcame to make this country so great. Incredible vistas, well-marked points of interest, good maps, and Furnace Creek does serve as a pretty good central point from which to journey. Not quite the Grand Canyon, but does give you the same sense of cosmic history.

“Absolutely Unique!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2014 NEW

A unique experiance, especially if you start at sunrise or sundown. The colors are exciting. Don't travel with a bus-group of 50 people. Explore it with a rental car. The silenceness is overwhelming and awesome!

“Coolest place on Earth to visit!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2014 NEW

Drove out to Death Valley on a recent trip to Vegas. Obviously go during a time of year when the weather is cool. It was such quiet, tranquil beauty, that I have to go back one day. Walk out into the middle of the valley and just soak in the silence.

“Stunning views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2014 NEW

Beautiful stunning desert views in all directions. Don't go in summer as it is too hot. Explore the sand dunes and take lots of pictures.

“Exceeded expectations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2014 NEW

Well, I was worried about dragging my husband out to the desert into the 100+ degree heat but we both loved it. It was so much more than a typical desert. there's a lot to see here and it's so beautiful. Do it
