“GREAT!:)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2014

This was great! We did this on the way in and it was totally worth it. This is a dirt road, so if you don't like them, this isn't the attraction for you.

“Very cool drive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2014

This was a neat drive, one lane, twisty just very fun. Lots of neat formations. Very close to the main road. It's sure worth a little side trip. No hiking required. No trailers!

“Easy to access unpaved road with fascinating colors in the hills”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2014

Take time to drive this short road & enjoy the sights. Road is curvy but beautiful & 1 of the sights to enjoy at Death Valley.

“The drive is wonderful.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2014

There is a location that has one of the twenty nine wagons just across from the canyon drive. This area has some unique sand dunes, well they are not sand dunes as in sand. These have been harden. They are sort of a yellow cast. It is totally something different that I wasn't expecting. You can go almost any place within the park and fine different scene.

“To the Moon !!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2014

One on the better trails on the main map of Death valley. I really usually only enjoy the back trails that most people can't get to but this is fun for all. The road is so well kept 2 wheel drive is easy... This area of old Borax mining is really cool and hard to explain. Full of old mile holes and eroded hills makes this area look the the surface of the moon. Great spot to get out and take amazing photos in the morning and evening with the great light and long shadows. Often hidden and overlooked make sure you add this excursion to your trip to Death Valley.
