“Beautiful renovation ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2014

Grew up seeing the transformation of this building and for so long it was boarded up and to return and stay at this beautifully renovated Hampton Inn was a treat!

Rooms are your typical Hampton with no complaints. Everything you need is there. Mostly full showers which are nice and spacious.

Work area is adequate and views are nice of the city and river.

The breakfast offering is typical Hampton but the staff is always happy to help warm something.

The staff was always helpful and friendly. Being a newer hotel the manager was always present to make sure guests were happy. In the area you can just walk to dinner and bars. There are great local bands and things to do.

I'm very glad Hilton has given Bradenton another option for down town lodging. On my next trip. I'll definitely stay there again.

We arrived at after three o'clock for our check in. However, our room was not ready. We sat in the lobby for over two hours waiting. We were only offered water after we asked. No staff went out of their way to apologize for the wait and/or to try to make us feel comfortable where we would want to return. This facility has a lot of growing pains to resolve!

Recently booked 2 room reservations for the same night for connecting rooms for the end of March'14 (Spring vacation time). Talked directly to the hotel, since I had special needs that required local knowledge of the facility. They were tremendous in the help, patience and courtesy they gave me. Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances caused me to have to cancel. I was looking forward to staying as I am sure the treatment I received on the reservations was representative of the entire staff and facility.

From the time of our arrival to the time we left, we were treated as special guest. This says a lot for the general manager who has a staff that reflects his views on how guest are suppose to be treated and the expectations of his employees. The facility was decorated gracefully, very clean appearance, has very large, comfortable, modern and user friendly rooms. I've traveled thru out the country and rate this experience as one of the finest. The breakfast manager and his staff could not due enough to make our daily morning experience more pleasurable. The cleaning and maintenance staff always greeted you ever time you met one either while they were working or just passing you within the facility. The front desk managers consistently greeted you as you passed, entered or exited the facility. They not only addressed you personally by name, but consistently inquired if our stay was up to our expectations and if they could do anything to make it better. I can say first hand they also had our security on their mind at all times, I had a few guess enter the facility early one morning and was challenged by the front desk within seconds of entering, it was handled professionally and both my guess and wife felt very impressed on security for this hotel. The location within the city was ideal for sightseeing, visiting events and the surrounding restaurants. The hotel staff are very familiar with ongoing events and assisted us with giving recommendations for things to do within the area. I have to say our experience was exceptional an would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bradenton

Excellent hotel in every way. Friendly staff, great king room, nice view of the river from our balcony and very quiet. Would highly recommend. Good breakfast, free parking and a great historical district location. Short walk to the Manatee River walk which was very nice and a short walk to the historical downtown area. Also a short walk to a very nice restaurant....PIER 22. Just a little pricy but worth it. First class hotel. Would stay again if I was in the area.

Room Tip: If you get there early it is easier to find parking. I think if you arrive later in the day parkin...

We had a beautiful room in the recently renovated Hampton Inn in downtown Bradenton for two nights. I had asked for an upper floor, so we were on the 5th floor in a corner room. We had windows all around, even in the bathroom. It was large enough that some places would call it a suite. It had a wet bar, sofabed, and a work desk in an alcove with all the necessities. The decor was a great blend of the modern and the great old bones of the hotel. The pool was just warm enough on a cool February day. The breakfast was fine, with a few changes each morning. Service was excellent in every area. The only minimal drawback for us was that the bed was very firm, which is not what we prefer. We are so pleased when the historical hotels of Florida are re-purposed so well. One favorite is the Hampton Inn on Amelia Island--this one has joined that list! It should be ranked as at least a 3 1/2 star hotel, instead of a 2 1/2 to 3 star.

Room Tip: Ask for a corner room on an upper floor for a view.

The rooms are clean, the atmosphere nice, but the parking leaves a lot ro be desired. only a small lot is attached to the property. If you aren't lucky enough to get a spot you will have to ask for a parking tag and park in another lot across the street. I'm a gold member and when requesting an upgrade before arrival I was told that I was booked in a room with a view of the water and that a suite wouldn't have a view. being unfamiliar with the hotel I said I would stay in the room with a view. little did I know you can hardly see a tip of water in a clear day in the very far distance. When I called to the front desk I inquiring about am upgrade since there really isn't a view I was told that he doesn't know anything about that. I feel I was tricked into staying in an inferior room and not getting the upgrade I should have gotten. my stay was for 2 days. breakfast was the normal fare with nothing outstanding.

Thank you for taking the time to review our stay at our hotel. It is always upsetting to hear we have fallen short of a guests expectations. Our water view rooms are spectacular, it is unfortunate that you were not accommodated. We do offer ample parking, as a downtown hotel, all parking is complimentary and accessible. We have two additional overflow parking areas. It is unfortunate that this information was not communicated to you thoroughly. We would like to discuss your stay directly, please contact us at your earliest convenience.
