Who would've figured that the prime rib would be outstanding at a restaurant named Oyster Bar? Boy were we surprised. After a few weeks of getting our fill of fish, shrimp, clams, etc. at area restaurants, we decided to try the prime rib. We opted for the 12 oz. cut with shrimp on the side. We fell all over ourselves in delight when a perfectly cooked medium rare prime rib arrived still steaming with aroma. It was tender and juicy. My fat, steamed shrimp was floating in a garlic sauce. My wife chose deep fried, served with a tangy cocktail sauce. The prime rib is served with both horseradish and au jus. Service was quick, drinks came before the meal, followed by excellent salads. Price is very reasonable for what you get. We've decided to go back once a week while we are in Bradenton. Next time I plan to try the fish and chips.
