I will be honest - it was not my choice. I like a hotel with a pool, but having written for Amos Press in Sidney, Ohio foe 40 years and never visited, I thought it was about time. The nearest airport was Dayton, but getting to Sidney was not easy. However, the editor lived in Dayton and said he would give me a lift to the office next day. The hotels in this part of time was best for him, so I went along with it. I had a suite as opposed to a studio and it was comfortable, well-designed, nice decor and very clean. There was a small kitchen, sitting room with good working facilities and free WiFi. There was no restaurant, but there were a host of eateries in walking distance - and a WalMart (a novelty for British me). Breakfast was 'help yourself', but very adequate and was inclusive. There was also no charge to be taken to the airport on the day of my departure. I found it relaxing and very friendly and good value.
