“Very Interested”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2012

My husband and I visited the battlefield this past weekend. We have been there several times however, this time seemed to be a little more informative. There was a movie to watch, a boat to tour, and many artiifact to look at inside the museum. Outside on the battlefields, there are reenactments, cannons, and trails to walk. There is a 6 mile driving tour in which they will give you a recorder to play as you drive it. There are also things like a grave yard and sign to read as you travel the trail. I would recommend if you are interested in history to visit Yorktown Battlefield and enjoy all the information they have to offer. It's almost like George Washington is still there.

“American Independence with France's help”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2012

We did not realize that France supplied troops and a fleet to help fight the British in 1781 to win independence. Was worth visiting, highly recommended.

“Every American should visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2012

This is the National Park Yorktown Battlefield drive tour, not to be confused with Yorktown Victory Center. The battlefield is toured by driving around the perimeter, stopping as you please. The park service has maps at the visitors center, which explain everything. I enjoyed the " do it yourself" tour. The Surrender Field presentation is moving.
