“You Get What You Pay For!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

This was a very basic motel. Upon check in - the front desk was really nice. There were a few spiders in my room but he took care of it right away. The maid was really nice too. The only issues I encountered were the wifi was not good AT ALL. There was barely a connection. For example, I wasn't able to connect to the Apple store or Facebook but I could surf the internet.... slowly. It was weird. Everything was also very outdated. At least 10 years old. There were cigarette burns in the blankets and holes in the walls. I would recommend staying there if it were your last resort.

Reasonably priced, clean facilities and very friendly and helpful staff. Noise from near streets was not intense inside our room. Free wifi (works well), mini-fridge and ice. Would definitely recommend.

Ventura is a beach town and Home of The Ventura County Fair...Our home away from home, for 2 weeks each year. We booked in May for our July/August. stay. Got a Low weekly rate, N/S w/ 2 comfortable beds. Everything was nice and clean, as the room, and bathroom, was recently remodeled. The downsides were the pillows and Blankets( old and used) Bring your own, we always do. Bring a coffee pot, and hair dryer. We had a Fridge and microwave. They do offer free coffee and Danish in the office. Management was very nice. There is no pool. The outside area is so,so. Not for picture taking......

Room Tip: All the rooms face the west area. Pretty quiet even though we were near The 101 Freeway. 1 Block awa...

We were desperate on a motorbike trip and needed a place to stay late In the evening. We were charged 180 plus taxes for a queen sized bed! No coffee maker. No ice bucket! Old tv and outdated. I've been in 50.00 motels that are nicer. We were not informed about breakfast hours so we missed it! 200.00 I would expect champaign and towels folded into swans ! Ouch not worth it, look online for a hotel 6 instead

We were desperate and it was 10pm and we needed a
place to stay as we were on a motorbike. I was shocked that the charge was 200.00 for a queen sized bed for the night! No coffee pot or ice bucket in the room! Big,old tv! The carpet and furnishings were old and outdated! For 200 I would expect a way nicer place with champaign waiting on the table and folded towels made into swans lol. The hotel 6's are more comfortable and cost us 55.00 a night. Too expensive to stay. You can find way cheaper and nicer if u look online.

I can't believe some of the bad reviews for this place! We arrived to a really friendly reception and were checked in quickly and smoothly. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the room which had a huge king size bed with a large flat screen TV and was very clean. There was also a microwave and fridge supplied and the free coffee and pastries in the morning was a nice touch. The shower was really powerful and looked brand new. Not much around the motel itself but it was great for a stopover between LA and Santa Barbara. It was a little pricey but I think that was due to Memorial weekend hiking up all the hotel prices and it was one of the cheapest in the area!

This hotel is definitely nothing cute, luxurious, or exciting, but for a budget motel, it was clean, had all the basics, and felt safe. The first thing we noticed when we entered our room was that it had a pretty strong bleach smell, but I found that better than other alternatives like cigarettes, dust, or gross people smells. Other than that, though, everything was okay. Sheets and towels (and toilet paper!) were all the thinnest basics, but clean. Wifi was slow but worked. Overall, this motel gets the job done if you're looking for an affordable place to spend a night or two.
