This is a very special historically empowered place to dine at and the food was absolutely to "talk about". Tutti's, we learned was originally in Montecito and reopened in the Downtown Mission area recently. The owners, The Sullivan's work this restaurant with easy elegance and polite charm making everyone feel comfortable either on the inside or outside near the fireplace.

The variety of portion-sizes one can order was very impressive and timely to the healthy - weight consciences customer, more than the dieter. The "small dishes" are just that, small manageable entrées yet supported by a home made soup and a wonderful salad, this delightful modest portion-ordering reserves space for a fantastic desert and lush aromatic coffee. The full-sized entrées were most generous and cooked with experience and style, heavily and heavenly influenced by the Mrs.' Italian heritage. It was delightful ....dinning.

This restaurant is a true indicator of the way Ventura is so well-connected with its own residents while providing a taste of class for any visitor fortunate enough to know their way around town Venturan style. Quietly....upscale comfort without the noise of the larger, better known tourist towns around. This inviting restaurant is sophisticated in an honest non-pretentious environment and in a location convenient to so many other attractions that it is easy to go to. We will return.
