Description: Andria's Seafood Restaurant and Fish Market is located in the beautiful Ventura Harbor Village. Well known for our original Fish and Chips, homemade clam chowder, and casual atmosphere, we provide the freshest seafood available, both in the restaurant and in the seafood market to take home. We offer salmon, halibut, scallops, and fresh lobster, just to name a few. Enjoy the hustle and bustle inside, or the view of the Harbor and mountains from the patios. It's no wonder Andria's has been voted Ventura's "Best Seafood Restaurant" year after year.

“Andria's Seafood, fish & Chips for Fish Haters!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

We dislike most fish!!!!......with a few exceptions...I love fried fish & chips....and shrimp & a few others. Andria's Seafood is at Ventura Harbor Village on the water. It's about 15 minutes off the Ventura Freeway in Ventura, so it's a good stop if you're passing through to Santa Barbara or the other way to Los Angeles. This is a little touristy village with free parking on the harbor with shops and a number of restaurants....also across the street is the beach. At Andria's you line up at the counter and order then find a table in the back overlooking the marina or in the front under the trees in a park atmosphere. In 5/10 minutes you pick up your food. They sell most fish... your choice Deep Fried or Char Broiled. Prices run from around 14.99 to about 18.99 all dinners come with rice pilaf and cole slaw...they also have salads and sandwiches. Most of it is pretty much like any other seafood place......HOWEVER...there are two Big Reasons to go to Andria's:

1. They have their specialty of WONDERFUL Fish & Chips at about $10.99. This has about 5 large pieces of fresh deep fried fish (enough for 2 or 3 people), with french fries or free sub of cole slaw.
2. When you're finished you just go out the patio and you're on the waterfront where you can walk the harbor and visit the other shops, etc.

Because of the Harbor Village...Andria's makes for a great low cost destination....Great Fish & Chips and a walk by the water...$10.99....can you beat it?

We have been there many times ...always good fish & chips!

“Needs Improvement”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

This Ventura Harbor restaurant and fish market is a popular local favorite, with seating near the boat docks along the channel. There are usually long lines to order (standing outside-not always worth the wait), but the fish selection for "fast food" is great. The quality is not always the same, as some visits we've had dark coloring and greasiness in the fish, and other times everything is perfect and not overly greasy. You often have to jostle with other customers and the seagulls for a decent place to sit. There are both indoor and outdoor seating areas available, we choose the outdoors to avoid the fish cooking smells if the weather is cooperative. There is also a fish market in the back of the restaurant, with fresh catch that is the same product they use for the restaurant.

“fresh fish, cold beer, what's not to like?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

We went to Andria's after several recommendations from locals during our visit to Ventura. It's fall, we went about an hour before closing, and the line was short with ample seating. Everyone told us to get the clam chowder and the fish and chips, so that's what we ordered at the counter. Perfectly fried crispy fish (choice of three: cod, halibut, and something else I was not familiar with), not a bit greasy, with a light batter. We had hot crispy fries too, but there were other choices available: cole slaw, pasta salad, or green salad. The portions were huge. My husband and I could have easily split an order. Next time we'll try the grilled fish because it looked delicious and well prepared.
The chowder had a great flavor, thick and rich, so go for a small portion or you'll leave half of it. Having an icy glass for the beer (good selection) made this a great meal and a fun time out for us. If it's warmer, we'll take the outside patio next time because we'll definitely be going back.

“Great fish , fun relaxing seaside restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

Whenever i'm in the area i make it a habit to run over to Andria's. They have a fresh caught halibut steak that's charred grilled, very good. Some of the best fish I've ever had. how much fresher can you get. It's on the harbor. Moist and no fish taste. If it's the right season it most likely was caught that day or close to it. Many of the other items on the menu are fried, but also excellent. I'm not a fried food person. Their fried fish plates are very good and light. I usually sit outside and it's a real treat to sit outdoors close to the harbor.,

“Best fish and chips we've ever tasted!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

We have been here many times, and they simply have the best fish and chips we've ever tasted! Crispy batter, tender fish, and tasty tarter sauce or malt vinegar to dip it all in. Also very good are the deep fried clams (ask for fresh lemons to squeeze on top - yum!) and the sweetly battered onion rings. You order at the counter and get a number, and seat yourself, so it is a very relaxed atmosphere. Weather permitting, we usually choose to sit outside above the water so that we can watch the boats sail into the harbor. This is one of our favorite places to eat, just perfect for a delicious weekend lunch!
