Been meaning to review this place but it slipped my mind. Just came across a couple of photos we took on our visit, so thought better late than never.
My husband and I visited this place for a date night. We were in the mood for Japanese, so at first we planned to go to Japanese Kitchen, but started looking up reviews on TripAdvisor when we came across this. On the spur of the moment, decided to go here instead.
We loves the atmosphere at this place. It had a cozy, homey feel to it. Lots of wood accents in the decor. There weren't many people when we visited. There was some Japanese TV program playing but it wasn't loud so didn't bother us at all. The cook and the server were both Asian ladies (I assume Japanese - I don't know how to tell a difference). We ordered Chicken Teriyaki, Ika Yasai Itame, both of which came with soup and rice. I think the soup was Miso soup, and holy cow, that thing was delicious!
We really enjoyed our meal here, and certainly plan to go back.
