“Take it easy or take it hard or take it both!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

It is easy taking the cable car up and, if you decide to hike down, BE PREPARED! It was DIFFICULT! I consider myself to be in reasonable physical shape and was extremely grateful for any stops, whether for another drink of H2O or resting on one of the benches. The trail ultimately does descend to the parking lot, but only after a lot of up & down trekking. By all means, take the tram up; however, if you decide to hike down,BE PREPARED!! If not, take the tram back down. Regardless, the vantage points will give you an exhilarating view of Texas, New Mexico, and Old Mexico! Five stars plus for the only cable car in the Texas!

“A long wait for not much on top except for the bugs”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

We've been up to the top of other mounts and had the opportunity to walk on trails and wander. For Wyler, you wait a long time to take the tram. When you get to the top, there is no where to walk around. You see the view and wait to go back down. All while the bugs are converging. Not a pleasant observation point.

“Must Visit Attraction in El Paso”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

This was one of the first attractions my husband and I checked out when we moved here. It was awesome. This is something everyone should do once, just for the views and the history of the region. There is also a nice little gift shop at the top with souvenirs and light refreshments. If you don't want to pay to ride the tramway up, you can hike the mountain (we've been told this takes 2-3 hours). We opted for the tram.

“Hike - one of the best places to hike in El Paso”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

Took my dogs and hike my way up and went around Franklin Mt. Great time to spend a Saturday morning. The best part of it, there is no charge for hiking or you can always hike up and come down the Tramway and pay only half the ticket.
