“Excellent, Old Fashioned Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

I've had the good fortune to stay at the Capital Hotel in Little Rock for two different business events in 2013 and 2011. It's a beautiful hotel, with well-furnished rooms, stained glass windows, crown molding and excellent restaurants. But what really makes this hotel stand out from the rest is the excellent, personal service that you receive from the minute their staff picks you up at the hotel. This is the type of five-star service that is rare in today's world. Everyone is not only courteous and helpful, but they are also welcoming and highly professional. If you are looking for THE place to stay in Little Rock, and you need everything to be just perfect, don't look anywhere else but the Capital Hotel. Highly recommended!

Gorgeously renovated and a historic feel. Our room was huge and had at least 20 foot ceilings. Luxurious in every sense. There was an issue with a bridal party and the hotel's response and resolution was above and beyond all expectations. Best service we have ever encountered in over 20 years of travels. In the heart of downtown Little Rock and walking distance to everything. Ashley's for an incredible meal and prices/wine list were more reasonable than any restaurant of this caliber we've been to. Can't say enough good things.

Room Tip: We did not ask for anything specific. Our room had a view of a lower roof - normally a very poor vi...

If you want a perfect wedding reception in Little Rock, AR - the Capital Hotel located on 111 W. Markham is all you need to know....

Gigi, Liz & Chuck put together an absolutely "perfect" wedding reception for us on June 22, 2013. From beginning to end, the event flowed smoothly & every attention to detail was spot on.

Many of the wedding guests stayed at the hotel, with several raving about the delicious food and the attention, starting with a personal escort to their room, polite bellman and awesome valet parking.

Words cannot describe what a wonderful time we enjoyed.

In town on biz. Really nice place. Lots of character. High ceilings crown molding, marble, etc. really great staff. Had a late meal in the bar - definitely recommend the bean soup. Easy walking distance to most of downtown. Close to Clinton museum. Will stay here again on my next trip to little rock

This is a lovely hotel, well-maintained and nicely staffed. The Capital does all the little things right: spotless rooms, friendly (not cloying) service, quiet and safe surroundings. Great meals at the Capital Bar and Grill and Ashley's. Good valet parking. What else could you ask for from a hotel? Location is prime, as well. Plenty of restaurants and attractions within easy walking distance. Go!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Capital Hotel recently on a business trip to the Little Rock area. I was more than pleased with everything about my stay. From the spacious room with the 14 foot high ceiling and the most comfortable bed I have slept in ever on the road all top notch. The staff were all excellent as well. I experienced no problem with valet parking and the time it took to have it brought to the front. The restaurants are both excellent. Had a fabulous business dinner at Ashley's and the Capital Grill was great as well. I will be back there soon and I am looking forward to it.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Capital Hotel while in Little Rock for a wedding. There is virtually no parking available other than the valet so we valet parked. After checking in about 3 pm we got ready and phoned for our car a little after 5pm to make it to a 6pm wedding. We finally got our car at 5:45 and got into the Church just before the Bride came down the aisle. We were not happy but gave the hotel the benefit of the doubt and valet parked our car again. (not that there was any other choice) Checking out the next day we waited another 30 minutes for our car to be delivered to us. The amenities at the Capital are first rate but our experience with the valet service left us with a very poor memory of the Capital.
