“Just the LOCAL Place We Were Looking For”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

It's all about expectations, right? If you hit the Oyster Bar expecting a chain-restaurant-in-a-shopping-mall experience, you will likely be sad. Here's what you should expect for your next Oyster Bar visit: shabby building, servers who are there to take care of you but won't pretend to be your best friend, self-serve condiments, good food, lots of seating, arking lot behind the restaurant, fair prices.

Been going here for years. Consistenly good fun. Laid back fun place with a jukebox and tv's going. Nice staff with good service. Also has children's menu.

“Not bad. Nothing special. Just a handful of deep fried selections.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013 via mobile

This place used to be really good back in the day. We hadn't been in a few years so gave it a try. It's your basic run down dive bar. A lot of the employees dont look to appealing/clean. It's self service as far as condiments go. Beer was small. Not that cold. We had fried shrimp, fries, catfish. Wasn't bad. Just nothing spectacular. There are much better choices in Little Rock

“This is a must eat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

The O Bar is one of Little Rock's mainstay restaurants. If you are ready for catfish, fried shrimp, etc., head over because they do it every bit as good as the best.

“My Daughter's and My Favorite Place to Eat!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

This place is a whole in the wall,.but it's my whole in the wall! The building in stiff station(Were an old street car staion used to be) used to be an grocery store were I sacked groceries in the early 70's went I was11.The fried shrimp is to die for (get the dinner with home made onion rings and french fries).Fix your own cocktail sause and don't forget to spice it up with horseraddish.Man my mouth is watering up just thinking about it!They have good poor boys and daily specials (I go on saturdays for the shrimp boil)!I almost don't want to write this review, because I love this place and I like not having to wait for a table. This is the one place you do not want to miss when you visit Little Rock.I've be enjoying it since the late 70's and will until the day I die!
