After a difficult day of travel with some car trouble on top of 100 plus temps this hotel was a pleasant surprise. We had booked it because we wanted to be on the west side of town for ease of heading out the next morning. The location turned out to be only a couple of miles from the shop working on our car. The manager's reception was going on when we checked in and never was a glass of wine do welcome. The beds were very comfortable, the suite was clean and roomy. Just a perfect, relaxing spot for our last night on the road.

We were not origionally going to stay here as we tried to book another hampton inn in Little Rock that was full. It was a very new property and nice to stay at. The access off of I 40 is not easy on this one though, as it is about a 5 mile drive. We also had to drive a distance to get to a restaurant.

I would stay here again.

20 minutes from Little Rock Airport, literally at the end of interstate I 630, this Hampton Inn is conveniently located to visit all of Little Rock. Downtown, the Clinton Presidential Library and historic Central High School are less than 15 to 20 minutes. One can even go to the Two Rivers Park (10 mts by car) for running, walking, biking, horse back riding or fishing; the park itself is on both sides of the rivers and is a beautiful place with scenic views.
This Hampton Inn offers a decent hot and cold breakfast and during our visit the hotel lounge was offering wine and beer for 50 cents till 9pm Mon thur Thursday. And for Krispy Creme fans there is one literally next to the Hampton Inn parking lot.

I stay at the Hampton Inn on Shackleford Road for a week approximately every 6 weeks. This is a nicely appointed hotel and the staff is awesome.
The beds are very comfortable and the included breakfast is pretty good too. The only complaint about breakfast is that they offer those "do it yourself" waffles, but you have to try to cut it with plastic forks and knives, on styrofoam plates...seriously? Can't you spring for some flatware and plates at least?
Every weeknight they offer beer and wine for 50 cents until 8 pm - nice to have a glass of wine before dinner and there are a lot of restaurants close by.
