We visited the Arkansas state Capitol in March and so were treated to the magnificent displays of the Japanese magnolias and spring flowering bulbs. The capitol building is certainly very impressive and the surrounding grounds have a wide assortment of monuments and memorials including the Little Rock Nine monument.
We stopped by the capital building of Arkansas and really enjoyed seeing the magnificant structure.
As state capitols go, this is the nicest one we've seen, and we aren't from Arkansas. Everything on the inside is made of marble. The building itself is like a miniature White House.
Definitely worth a visit.
Found that the Arkansas looked alot like the U. S. Capitol. On the day that we visited we were only able to walk around the grounds as a special event had the rotunda closed of a brief period of time.
