So while passing through Little Rock, we stayed at the Hampton on a Sunday night. The hotel is very conveniently located right off the Interstate and there are plenty of resturaunts nearby. Check-in went well and the room was a standard Hampton two bed room (see pics). Everyone was friendly but the room we had didn't have the thick curtains and the light from outside kept my wife awake most of the night (which in turn kept me awake). The next morning we went down to breakfast and was very disappointed. They had run out of the cut fruit and had very little that was appetizing (unusual for a Hampton). When we checked out, we mentioned the problem with the room and were told that they would make sure we had a different room when we come back (we stayed there 4 days later). When I booked my second night stay, I opted for the "Clinton Library Package" which I felt was a great deal. Check-in again went without a hitch and everyone was very pleasant. As a matter of fact, with our package we were also given a book about the library (an unexpected $25 value). When we go to the room, we were very impressed. It was a single bed king room but with a shower instead of a tub (new to me..) and also had the proper curtains. Everything was great that night (what I usually expect from Hampton) and when we went to breakfast the next Morning (Friday) the breakfast was outstanding (actually a little better than most Hamptons). All in all this is a nice place, the staff is very helpful and friendly, the location is great, and the rooms are nice. I think I must have caught them on a bad or very busy day the first night because the second night was so different. Will go back sometime!

Thank you very much for staying with us on your recent trip through Little Rock, going and coming. I am so sorry that we dropped the ball on your first night with us. I assure you that is not a normal occurance for us. I am very pleased that you were willing to give us another opportunity to deliver the high standard of service an accomodations that we strive for. I will have our maintenace team look into the curtain issue and I will address the breakfast offerings issue as well. We should always have a wide variety of breakfast foods for our guests to choose from. Thank yo again for staying with us. We truly appreciate your loyalty to Hampton.
