“Very Nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2012

We made a last minute change to our itinerary and took the last room available. We usually stay at Courtyards or full-sized Marriotts, and were pleasantly surprised by how nice it was, plus it had better linens and towels than the Courtyard in St. George where we had stayed a few days before. The staff was very friendly and helpful in suggesting dinner locations. The bathroom shower/tub area was separate from the sink area, which was nice, however the sink area was a little small, but adqequate. There was another sink and a refrigerator and microwave. All in all, a good experience.

This hotel is an OK place to sleep for one night. It is clean, but very basic. The rooms are large and have an extra sitting room/living room area, so larger families will appreciate the extra space. There is also a microwave, wet bar with fridge and a work desk. The bed linens were not luxurious, not at all. The blanket was OK and the pillows felt like they were purchased at K-Mart. After having just stayed at a Hampton Inn, I would definitely select Hampton Inn, any day, over Springhill Suites. Marriott could do better!

The employees were all very courteous and I really appreciated the fabulous TV channel selection, including the hi-def channels.

Breakfast buffet: It gets crowded, so get there at 6:30 AM if you want a seat! The food is your normal continental breakfast…cereal/muffins/1 hot scrambled egg entrée/juices… Springhill Suites did offer a ‘make your own’ waffle station which was nice. However, the butter was nearly frozen and with no microwave to warm/soften it, the ‘uber coolness’ of cooking your own waffle was knocked down a notch or two by frozen butter and no hot syrup.

There is a small indoor pool/spa and workout room. No, you won’t train for the Olympics in any of these venues, but if you want a fun place for the kids to splash around at the end of a busy day, this will fit the bill.

Wal-Mart is less than a mile away so stocking up on any forgotten items is easy.

Zion National Park was about a 1 hour drive. This is an amazing park and should not be missed! We so loved our time here and hope to return one day.

This hotel is right next to I-15. Our suite was great, large, sofa, king bed, micro and fridge. We were located in the back so it was very quiet. Nice stay.

This hotel is great. For an amazing rate of oly $80 a night I really didn't expect so much. We have a big family, so the sofas and extra seating area were a big plus. The pool is on the small side, but it wasn't crowded and my kids were fine with it. My husband said it was nice and warm! If I had any minor complaints it would be breakfast left a little to be desired, ok but not great, and pillows were all really flat feeling. Not show stoppers and would definitely stay here again!

PROS:
- Location is near shops and restaurants
- Free breakfast upon your stay
- Free WiFi
- About 35 miles from Brian Head Utah Ski Resort

CONS:
- Average room sizes
- Do not choose lower room floors; If guest on upper floors are heavy you can hear them easily. Had a bad experience the last time.
