On 08/22/11 Monday evening at 6:06pm I ordered Steak Fajita’s to go for 11.95 at La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant & Cantina located 890 N Main St. Cedar City Utah. The phone number is --.
I ask the manager for a diet pepsi. He said that he could not give me a diet Pepsi to go. I Danny asked if i could sit down and drink a diet Pepsi while my order was being cooked. I also asked for a little salsa to go for our order. The total was 14.94. Within minutes our order to go was out. I then, left and went directly home with our order.
Upon arrival, I called to let the manager know the quality of the meat was not as good as I thought it should be, the portions of all condiments were not fresh. The manager let me know that he would talk to the cook. He then seemed to want to cut the conversation short.
My wife and i both reviewed and tasted small portions of each item. We discovered not only the meat was of bad quality, but also the chips were very stale tasting and the salsa was not of the quality we have expected for years from La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant & Cantina in Cedar City Utah.
I then recalled the manager. I informed him of our issues with our order. I also asked the manager if he was the owner or not? He said, “The owners were out of town”. In nice way, i let him know as a customer unless the quality of my order could not be better than what we received; we would no longer want to take orders to go from La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant & Cantina in Cedar City Utah.
The manager informed me that he had checked with the cook, and the cook had just cut the meat. At that point, nothing was resolved. The manager did or said nothing or made no attempt to help the situation out.
In short, we had been customers for years. The manager i dealt with needs to be way more customer oriented. In our opinion, the food quality has gone down dramatically at The Cedar City La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant.
If the manager would have released the proper contact information for the owners, for the first time in my life I would have wrote a delivered letter to the owners of this restaurant directly.
So, I am posting this review of an awful experience for our friends and family on this web site.
No Stars. In fact, zero for customer service.
