“We loved the Abbey Inn and the City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

WE had a really nice stay at the Abbey Inn. They have a nice indoor pool and a nice Hot tub, which we look forward to every night. The City is a nice place to visit.
They have a nice Great fresh Breakfast. The nicest breakfast on our trip. They have ladies cooking it fresh and a really nice breakfast room. We will stay again.

Thank you for staying with us and for sharing your experience. We are glad that you we able to enjoy the pool and hot tub. It is really nice in the fall and winter to have the pool indoors. As you mentioned, Cedar City is a great place to visit. Coming up, we have the ski season at Brian Head to look forward to. We hope to see you again soon!

We stayed two nights here while visiting Cedar Breaks and Zion! From the front desk to the room and breakfast area, you could not ask for a more comfortable, friendly place to stay. The room was a good value, clean with all amenities you would want. The hot breakfast area was in a separate building, easily accessible and the food was great! We will stay here again if we get back to this area!

The room itself was perfect. Our room was in the center of the hotel by the elevators and there was a few table and chairs to sit at and look at the scenery ( with a glass of wine ) on the balcony.
The best of the best. A lot of places to eat within walking distance. Main desk was VERY helpful with any questions we had. Best hotel on on vacation.

Room Tip: Try to book near the center of the hotel ( near elevators ) Request rock side.

Thank you for staying with us at the Abbey Inn and for sharing your experience. It sounds like you were on the east side of the hotel upstairs with a view of the red rock. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your room and that you thought we were the best hotel of your trip. That means a lot to us! We hope to see you again soon.

Hubby and I stayed here for the first time on our way back to Vegas from Bryce National Park. We had no trouble finding the Inn and the desk staff were very nice, made us feel welcome and like a guest. The room was spotlessly clean which is a huge plus, the furnishings are very nice, the A/C ran quietly, the bed and pillows were comfy. It also had a nice little fridge, microwave and coffee pot all for the same price as the Best Western up the road. BUT the Abbey Inn was more elegant. We also appreciated that it was very quiet so we got a good rest and sleep. In fact we slept in so missed breakfast BUT there is IHOP right there, we got to eat before we hit the road. What a find, we will definitely stay there again if we are up that way.

Thank you for staying with us and for sharing your experience. It is very helpful to us when our guests provide feedback. Thank you for mentioning so many of the benefits of staying with the Abbey Inn versus other Cedar hotels. Our staff works very hard to make sure our guests feel welcome and comfortable. Hopefully next time you will be able to have breakfast because it is probably our most popular hotel benefit. We look forward to having you back in the future.

Room that we had was tastefully decorated in excellent condition. Beds were comfortable and the everything about the visit was delightful. Great Value. The hot breakfast had it all from sausage to eggs to toast to waffles. Everythingwas tasteful, clean and hot (except the juice -jit was cold).
Abbey Inn is very convenient, you almost trip over it as you leave the freeway. Good location as well.

We stayed here for 2 nights on a 2Q bed on the 2nd floor with my husband and 4 yr old daughter. This place is clean, quiet and comfy beds. They have most amenities that needed such as extra towels, complimentary bath and body works soap, shampoo and lotion, small microwave, coffee maker with coffee, small fridge, iron and ironing board. They have flat screen TV and free wifi. The indoor pool and spa is located on a separate building next to the inn which is clean and not crowded during our stay. Their free breakfast was superb, on our first day we went around 8AM and 9AM the next morning. Both times were crowded but they have enough food, staff and very friendly and continuously preparing hot food for the guests. Breakfast area is located is located on the separate building next to the inn (look like a small house/real kitchen), they have 10 tables inside and has a covered patio with 4 large patio tables. I used the laundry during our stay which is clean and tidy. They have elevator to access the 2nd floor as well and 2 stair on each side (4 total) as the room doors are located outside. We will definitely stay at this inn if we will visit this area in the future given the great amenities, quality of service, cleanliness and very unbeatable price.

Our requirements are "clean, quiet and comfortable" so we always request an upstairs room away from stairs, away from traffic etc. for quietest comfort. We were not disappointed. The staff is very insistent on service and ready to handle any questions.

A fine, complimentary breakfast with plenty of choices is served in a house at the end of the motel and provided plenty of room for dining from 6AM to 9.

Wifi worked well and cell service was great.

We were in the mood for Mexican food and selected Lupita's from recommendations both on this forum and from the motel staff. Portions were modest but filling.

Room Tip: Request an upstairs room away from stairs etc. for quiet comfort.
