Much better than expected - a comfortable apartment right in the heart of NY! Having worked in the NY Hotel industry I know that for the money we spent on this apartment, we'd have only got a shoe box sized room in a below average hotel.
Apartment was clean and cosy, and had great facilities - if you're into cooking and not wanting to expore the culinary delights NY has to offer.
I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation - a bargain in New York!

We arrived at the weekend and late at night. We'd read reviews about people arriving out of hours and having trouble collecting their key. So we stayed in a cheap hotel near the airport the first night and then travelled into Manhattan the following morning. Key collection is a bit of a hassle with a large suitcase on public transport! but other than that no trouble.
The apartment itself was very nice and surrounded by nice delis, so I can't say what the cooking facilities were like but the kitchen was well equiped. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone whos fit enough to carry there luggage up the stairs!

Great location, very spacious for New York City.

Apartment smelled of old smoke (beware non-smokers!) and was a bit on the dirty side. Broken towel bar, stained couches, etc.... but still a good value for the money.

I'd probably book again, but bring along some cleaning products just in case!

Excellent location, on a quiet street between 5th and 6th Ave! Short walk to all Midtown has to offer! Slight problems collecting keys as we arrived on Labour Day, but sorted within an hour!
Appartment was clean and spacious, fab kitchen facilities, and comfy furnishings! Would happily recommend this property to anyone looking for an appartment in Manhatten! Hope to return!

This apartment was fantastic except for some disorganization in actually getting in it in the first place. The apartment is spacious, clean and extremely quiet, something I didn't expect in NYC. For the price, this is a real deal, and is great if you don't want to eat out every meal; just pick up some food and eat in (and save even more money).

It's just a few blocks away from Times Square, so getting around was easy. The only problem was that initially we arrived after 11pm, which meant we had to take a $20 cab ride to another hotel to get the key. Then once we had the key, it turned out that the key we were given was for a room that was already occupied. So it basically took us 2 hours to get into our room, with lots of confusion and phone calls from inside another guests room.

I would strongly suggest arriving sometime during the day so there are people around to help you. And don't expect a traditional concierge... it seems that the restaurant next door, and the sewing shop on the second floor are all responsible for giving you your keys, but then claim no responsibility anything.

Despite all of that, it eventually worked out and it was a very nice place to stay and relax after long hours walking around the city. I would recommend it to friends.

Tucked in the middle of New York City's "Little Brazil", close to Times Square, this one-bedroom walk-up is spacious, clean and well equipped.
It is also a bargain when you consider what the City's pint-sized hotel rooms are going for. Arrangements were made entirely by e-mail (promptly and courteously) and the on-site staff was very accommodating (the pun is intended). A slight quibble: Because of the poor placement of lamps, there is no place to sit comfortably and read.
