We stayed here from Tuesday to Saturday last week and we chose this hotel as part of our wedding holiday because of the excellent reviews it got and they were right!
Upon arriving and after checking in, our luggage was taken up to our room by the nice porter.
We stayed in the balcony suite with a king bed, which was huge!! The separate living room with the balcony was very spacious and you could watch the busy New York life go by from the comfort of the room. The air conditioning was very good, one in the bedroom and another in the living area. Both had HD tv's with loads of channels. The bathroom was nice and the shower was very powerful. There was a safe, minibar, complimentary water, bathrobes and slippers in the room and an umbrella (which can be borrowed also at reception) which came in useful last Thursday!. There is also a turndown service each evening.
There was a free buffet style breakfast every morning, with a choice of cereals, croissants, bagels, fruit etc, and also there was complimentary tea/coffee, biscuits, buns 24 hours a day. Unfortunately we never had a chance to sample the free wine and cheese from 5-8pm because there was so much to see in this enormous city. We went up to the rooftop garden which was lovely. Check out time is 1pm and there is a luggage storage facility if you have a late flight.
The hotel is in a very good location 2 blocks away from the nearest subway station and it is about a 20 min walk via Broadway to Times Square.
What we enjoyed most about staying here, was the nice wee personal touches they showed whilst we stayed, we had been in contact with a lovely girl called Emily who works at the hotel who helped us via email about staying and with other things to make sure our trip went smooth.
On our arrival she lad left us a card and chocolates wishing us all the best and to contact her if we needed anything, and when we got back after we got married there was a bottle of wine and another card congratulating us which we though was a really nice thing to do.
I would absolutely recommend this hotel 100% to anyone :)
