“Loved it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed today NEW

First things first, this place is still in the midst of renovation from seventh floor so you'll find some dusty footprints around the place, there is only one elevator with the other committed to workers and there will be noise from 8am on but we were on the seventh floor and heard very little from the floors below. We were upgraded from a standard to a suite and were obviously therefore pleased with all the facilities except for the lack of tea/coffee making facilities. While not cheap, the standard of the room we were eventually in made it worthwhile; the seventh floor has just been renovated, the bathroom had bath with shower and spa and shower with large overhead nozzle and handheld nozzle. The staff were fantastic and we were particularly well looked after by Mohammed from the moment we arrived and from Paul on the front desk. I would definitely stay again if I could get the right price.

Rooms are tiny, bad insonorisation, elevator sucks but hotel in renovation so hopefully they will upgrade. Rooms will still be tiny. No restaurant, no bar, no mini bar in rooms. Nice bathroom but way too small

We had a fantastic stay at The Gershwin Hotel in New York. The hotel is undergoing an extensive refurbishment and our room had been recently decorated. It was stylish and comfortable, although the blinds were a little fragile (our one gripe). The staff were extremely helpful and willingly assisted us with all our queries. The location is perfect, just around the corner from the Flatiron building and a short hop away from Midtown. We would seriously recommend it.

The hotel is under construction. The open stairway that stretches the entire hotel guarantees you will hear everything. The doors slam. My room, a deluxe queen, was so cramped it felt uncomfortable. My son's deluxe king was much better though I paid the same price. Friendly staff, nice bathrooms, fab location. Just don't plan on a restful stay.

Perfect location for both uptown and downtown attractions. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent rooms. Makes you feel as a real New Yorker. Very close to the underground 28 th street and also to 34th.

Been at this hotel three times since 2012 and the service (shout out to Dinet and Pavi) gets better every year. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated. (Be sure to check out the music lyrics in the showers) Great value for the money.
