My stay was exactly wha tI would expect from a Courtyard. Comfortable, clean, friendly accommodations. Since they have blocked off streets in Times Square and made seating space we were within a couple of blocks of being able to sit and relax righ there. There was a refrigerator in the room which was plus. They have a touch screen in the lobby with local information which is very cool and 24-hour coffee. We'll definitely stay again and grab another handful of those delicious multi-colored candies at the front desk.

Everyone was friendly at check in. Room was great! Nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable! Unfortunately, we had an emergency at home and had to leave at 8:00pm the same night. Fully expecting to have to pay the full hotel rate, they very kindly charged us only half, no questions asked!! We have stayed at a different hotel, in a different state, and when we had to leave that same night due to our son being sick, they would not refund us a dime.

Although our stay was VERY short, we had a wonderful experience. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!! (Hopefully for a full night next time). :)

The hotel, about 150 feet in from Broadway on 40th St, about as central to Times Sq and wherever you want to go in nyc-metro is on the corner @Bwy as well as 2 blocks up at Times Sq. We last stayed there in 2007 (see prior review) and the hotel has been well maintained. It is very quiet, being sandwiched between 2 office buildings in the middle of the block. (residence Inn is at the corner on 6th/41). Apples at the front desk and free coffee in the lobby and rooms; rooms are decent sized. The only thing one might carp about for our 25th fl room is that the fabric on one of the chairs was starting to wear. K bed was exceptionally comfortable, staff is very friendly, room was well cleaned, elevators are efficient and fast, free internet in lobby and wi-fi. Around the corner on Bwy is the Olive Tree for a quick inexpensive breakfeast/bagel with cream cheese $1.75. For a pre-theare prix-fixe excellent 3 course Italian dinner with a decent bottle of wine, $27.95 ,Basilica on 9th Ave, rez needed, highly recommend the veal; and in the moderate category, across the street , our ongoing favoirte Hell's Kitchen. Five Napkin Burger is a good bet if your'e in the mood for burgers..Jim Fong in Chinatown (Elizabeth, off Lafayette and Canal, dim sum carts at its best. For 1/2 price or promo theatre tickets try the I /info booth in Times Sq next to McDonalds--. 9-5 is very much worth seeing despite middling creitics reviews. Billy Eliot is at premium prices for now.
