“GREAT location. Decent room. So-so service.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Pros: GREAT, convenient location! Cool, modern, hip vibe. Good price. Literally 1 building's length to Broadway with view of times square. 5 blocks from Central Park. Convenient to my business dealings on Park. Front desk staff was pleasant.Room was clean and quiet with the exception of the a/c. We had 2 beds and the room was a decent size.

Cons: Hit or miss with the door men. Some were enthusiastic, others were talking among themselves and it felt like you were interrupting a conversation to get through the doors. Definitely need to tighten up ship with the cleaning staff. One night the beds were missing top sheets. Another night we didn't get any hand towels or wash cloths. This was quickly remedied with a call to the front desk.

All in all, I would probably stay there again as the pluses outweigh the minuses.

Nice hotel with clean rooms and fair facilities. Good for sightseeing and travelling all day around Manhattan. The only problem was that the third day we have visited our room at 5 in the afternoon and our room was still dirty from early in the morning that we left. At 6 in the afternoon the cleaner ask us if we wanted to clean our room and we kindly refuse it because we were resting. Our room was dirty for 2 days!!
Also, our room was smelling like kebab house when we arrived there on Day 1. The smell was coming from the kitchen below our hotel!

Room Tip: Ask for a room in front of the hotel, not in the behind side.

Very nice and modern hotel. I recommend it to everyone. Clean ja modern room and excellent service. Doorman Jeff did a very good job. Location was veru nice, in the middle of Manhattan but still it wasn't at Times Square and it was very quiet hotel.

We spent 4 nights in that hotel.
The positives: good location, clean and comfortable bed.
The negatives:
We reserved a "deluxe king bed" room, but it was nothing like the photos on the site. The room was tiny, impossible to open more than 1 luggage. There is a huge mirror preventing the addition of another rack for a luggage (big problem). And there was no shelves and no counter space in the bathroom.
The room was facing a wall in the back of the building. We received this room because we were afraid of the noise from the construction site just in front of the hotel, but I think the construction site was less noisy than this room. The air conditionned unit was so noisy and during the night sometimes there was a loud bang coming, we think, from the service elevator just beside the room...so no quiet nights.
When we arrived, there was no top bedsheet, just one bath towel, no hand towel and no washclothes. We asked and all was in our room when we came back. But this was not the end, EACH of our 4 night stay, we had to ask for something missing: bath towel, hand towel, washclothes and even the top bedsheet a second time (this time we had to wait more than one hour to have the sheet, after we asked a second time and had to make the bed ourselves...). All this after we met the maid the second morning and asked her what we wanted in the room...nothing exceptionnal, just the basic, bedsheets and towels.
And the breakfast!!! Expensive for what is offered.
Never again.

Room Tip: Don't take the rooms next to the service elevator.

Hello
We would like to share our experience regarding the hotel mentioned above.
we came to tour US from Israel and stayed in this hotel for 5 days (25-29.06.13)
The hotel is in a comfortable and convenient location , the interaction and the service were outstanding, the room was clean and tidy included all the hygiene accessories needed.

we would like to mention 2 staff workers which made our experience pleasant and unforgettable ;
Natalie (manager) - helped us to overcome the language barrier , she offered her help in any request (even unusual ones) - for example breakfast , WiFi Connection , Taxi etc.
She is wonderful and kind person and we appreciate everything she done for us.
Robert (Restaurant) - we would like to emphasize the great service which we got from you and the restaurant staff. The place was very organized and neat. The food was fresh and delicious.
We would like to thank you all, for a great hospitality and hope to meet you again in the future.

Right in the mist of Theater District. The locations was excellent, adjacent to the David Letterman theater, and about midway between Times Square and Central Park. Rockefeller Center, NBC, CBS, Carnegie Hall and Radio City are all about two blocks to the east. - no cab needed! A top notch staff , really cute/modern decor reasonably priced. Didn't try the hotel restaurant.

Room Tip: Rooms are small, had to open the bathroom window to get the steam out, our bathroom had no ventilati...

This was my first time coming to New York city and I have no clue what to expect. I was here on business and while in the office I heard sirens, yelling, construction, etc. all day. However, while in the hotel I barely heard anything and got great sleep.

When I wanted to take a quick visit of time square - it was just a right turn and quick walk before I was there. Also, Caroline's comedy club and the David Letterman show are near by.

Overall, it was a great place to stay my first time. I did not have to go far to experience a lot of the typical tourist stuff and it was a great place to rest when I was all done.

Room Tip: I had room 808... which was VERY big and quite. Only downside - the building across the street is un...
