“Great location, stylish, small rooms”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Perfect location if you prefer Upper West Side. The style is great, very trendy. Staff is very friendly and supportive. The rooms are clean and bed comfort is great.
Drawbacks are the small size of the rooms which is, however, not unusual for NY. Further, the noise of the construction side next to the building is annoying if you spend day time on the room. On my wish list would be a minibar or at least a small fridge.

The New York NYLO was outstanding. Staff was exceptional. Room was very comfortable and bigger than expected for a reasonable rate considering the location. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay on the the Upper West Side.

Have stayed at NYLO many times, and On the Ave, its predecessor, and was not aware that there were such tiny rooms in what was formerly my favorite hotel on the UWS. Called the front desk and was told "sorry, that's all we have."

$450/night for a shoe box. Not acceptable. Will not return.

Room Tip: Ask for the square footage and do not accept anything under 250.

Fantastic location, easy walk to sites, or at least to subway. Central park close by. Very clean, best beds!!! Very helpful staff. Food markets nearby and chirping chicken around the corner, great spot to eat, what more can you ask for. Can't wait to get back and see more of this amazing city

SMALL room with poor lighting in bathroom but great water pressure in the shower. It took a long time to get hot water, though. Comfortable bed. Efficient use of space but no mini-fridge or microwave. Downstairs bar, lobby, lounge trying to be hip... post-modern? Not being from NY, I thought it was a bit pricey--no view or extra amenities. Clothes storage and bed tables looked like college dorm furniture.

Great location near to subway station and just round the corner from central park and the natural history museum.
Rooms are a good size, modern and airy with possibly the biggest bed I've ever seen!
Wifi is complimentary in the reception/bar area but not in the rooms which didn't worry us as we have Internet on our phones.
We had some cocktails at the bar on our first night which were fantastic.
great stay in beautiful new york

Me and my girlfriend stay for two nights. The location was perfect, two steps from subway(line 1) on Broadway. Walking distance to Columbus circle-center of Manhattan. This is the boutique hotel and the interior is very good, staff and service is also good. The only disappointment was,our windows is faced to construction site and it was a bit noisy starting from 8 am.
