Me and my boyfriend stayed at the "Park Central" for 4 nights between the 25th & 29th of Jan.
We arrived 2 hrs early to check in but that was no problem, there was a room available straight away! We had requested a high floor which was not availble on our package but they upgraded us anyway at no extra charge. This was a great start to our holiday and we could start exploring within half an hour!
We didnt really spend much time in the hotel but every evening when we got back, our room was emmaculate with fresh towels & bedding. The bed was huge & really comfy.
Location was perfect with easy reach to "times square" & "central park". We went all over the place either by subway,Taxi ( if we were running late) or by foot & we covered everywhere from lower east side, tribeca, soho and ground zero without any problems.
The concierge was very helpful, they gave advice on restaurants, taxis to airport etc...
Overall i would recommend this place to anyone who wants to make the most out of exploring New york. It is not flash or trendy but it is clean, comfortable and in an amazing location!!!!

For my 21st I decided that a trip to the big apple would be a great way to see it through!

We stayed at Park Central hotel...and in my opinion you couldn’t ask for a better location on the rates we got our room for. First step out of the hotel, take a look right and you can see thee famous Times Square. Everything you need is on the doorstep even the subway station which we used religiously as a way of getting around the city... (Our poor feet suffered).

The hotel was great, we were not aware that the twin rooms was not a guarantee on arrival, so when we did arrive and there wasn’t one available, mum and I were a little disappointed. However explaining to them that I did not fancy spending my 21st birthday sharing a bed with my mother - they on the next night promptly upgraded us to a luxury twin suit which we were very impressed with. Staff can be surly at times (New Yorkers pah!), the hotel was very clean & tidy, cleaners do a fantastic job.

I would recommend this hotel to all and when I return I will definitely stay here again.

Hi - we stayed at the Park Central Hotel from the 20th to the 25th January 2007 - we were visiting NYC for the 1st time for our son's wedding - and couldn't complain about anything.

A few little niggles - like the fan noise outside our 3rd floor window, a loose wire going into the wall - and noisy sheets (they actually gave off a small static flash if you looked in the dark when you moved around in them during the night) - but everything else was fine.

Big room - two big beds, clean bathroom, plenty towels, room cleaned often, staff all friendly - no check in/out probs - even used the business centre to check-in our return flights on the internet - all great!!.

Hotel in ideal location - never far from anywhere. Almost next door to the NYC Tourist Board office ( and a great deli right next door to it - just LOVE homefries!!).

Would return to this hotel in a heartbeat - EXCELLENT!!!!

Thanks to all at the Park Central

My stay was fine; however, when I packed up and left, I accidently left behind a few things of mine, including a pair of really expensive shoes. When I called the hotel, it was difficult to get someone to respond to my issue. It took 3 days for them to get back with me. Then they told me that I did leave a few things, but no signs of any shoes. I am positive the maids took my shoes since everything else showed up in the lost and found.

My advise, anything you leave behind that's valuable in this hotel, count it as lost for good.

Excellent location - 2 blocks from Central Park and 4 blocks from Times Sq - everything is on your doorstep.

Check in was easy no problems whatso ever.

Room very clean - was quite noisy but what do you expect from staying in NYC.

Room was cleaned everyday we were there.

Did not use bar or restaurant as there are so many other places in NY to be going to.

Very friendly staff from receptionist to concierge to cleaner.

We had a flat screen tv in our room. Rooms were a good size and we paid an excellent price so nothing to complain about and would definately go back.

Slight niggle would be it would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
