A Very good localization , confortable rooms and good Wi fi !
This hotel is close to Central Park, where you can find lots of museums.
Restaurants and shops are easy to find and the prices are good!
It's a big hotel and sometimes the employees are not so close...

Room Tip: The rooms Far from the elevators are quieter.

Asked for a quiet room - did not get it.
Room was cold and heat was not working. Asked them to get it fixed. An hour and a half later, it was still not working. Apparently it takes awhile for the building heat to kick in. So, they brought in a space heater.
Oh, and you have to pay a mandatory $25/day for the internet and free long-distance calls. I guess the hotel industry will now be like the airline one. Shame.

Great location by the very beautiful Central Park & convenient to subway lines & Times Square. It's big, you may have a hike to your room & the rooms - like most in NYC - are small, but they're fine & clean. Did not use any amenities but staff was courteous & helpful when I needed clarification on directions. Other reviews mentioned the slowness of the elevators. I was on the 9th fl and they weren't as bad as I expected.
I recommend breakfast at the coffee shop in the Hotel Wellington directly across the street. Quite the hustle & bustle (think Sat Night Live Pepsi, Pepsi, Pepsi), reasonable prices and good food.

The best thing about the hotel is the location! Just a few mins from central park and Times Square and some great delis and cafes nearby for breakfast. The lobby is lovely and the check in staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was spacious, clean and exactly what we needed. The bed was so big and comfy and we had a nice big flat screen TV. Our view was of the street below, was a little bit noisy but then that's NYC.
We ate in the restaurant one night, the menu was limited but the food and service were great.
The facilities fee of 2o dollars a night plus tax is a bit annoying but it wouldn't stop me staying here again as the perks out way the cons.

Just stayed at Park Central hotel for a 4 day stay in New York. The hotel is in a perfect location, mere blocks from Central Park to the north and Broadway and Times Square to the south. It was easy to get to on the underground from JFK, and we found it easy to get about all the city from the 3 nearby underground stops!
The rooms were well equipped and were fitted to a higher standard, the bathroom was slightly small but this was not a problem for such a short stay. The bar was nice (but pricey) for a evening drink, and the on site coffee shop ideal to grab a quick snack- although there is an abundance of eateries around the hotel so isn't really needed (we highly recommend Fluffy's across the road!)
Had no problems with waiting for lifts and stored luggage as some reviews mentioned on here, overall would definitely stay here again!

Because of the number of tourists and large parties, you may not think of this hotel as a place to stay for business, yet I have chosen this hotel for years. Well, except for when they were undergoing renovations when it was a horrible mess. It's all finished and very nice. The restaurant is very good and great for meeting clients for breakfast or just a meeting. There are terrific restaurants across the street that are suitable for business dinners. Yup, the place is very busy but inside the room the noise level is fine. It's centrally located with entertainment options within walking distance. And, the price is usually very reasonable for NYC. Desk help service seems to be much improved.

Caveats: Very busy with lots of tourists and teenagers. Unless you are on a high floor, it is noisy but this is NYC. All hotel rooms in the City are noisy with screeching sirens, car honks and construction. The rooms may seem small to out-of-towners but they are large by NYC standards.

Room Tip: Choose a room higher than the 10th floor if you are noise sensitive. The higher the better.

This is a perfect mid-town choice. A very short walk to Centeral Park, MOMA, Columbus Circle, Broadway, amazing resturants and so much more. GREAT LOCATION for lots of dicovery but not in the middle of the madness of Time Square ( we got to see it from our room!) . Nice bar and resturant ,very comfortable beds, spacious rooms modern on the inside-old school New York on the outside with friendly helpful staff. I Highly recommend it for a NYC visit.

Room Tip: We had a room facing Times Square ( 9 blockes away) so you feltlike a part of it but away from all o...
