Avg hotel for high price. Window wascracked open and heater unit on off and room was freezing. Lots of broken things in the room. Beds comfortable but nothing outstanding for the price. Found lots of stuff under the beds from previous visits.

Booked this hotel through Priceline Express Deal for a Saturday night for $195 including taxes. Was more concerned about price and location than room and was pleasantly surprised. It is 1/2 block off time square and about a 5 minute walk from the subway. Lobby was very cool with fireplace and lots of room to hang out. Checked in early and was assigned double room 820 which is across from elevator. Was concerned because past experience was that you could hear everything when across from elevator but the door was very heavy and didn't hear a thing. Room was small. Other than TV there really wasn't much extra. No fridge, coffee maker, etc, which was fine. Very ideally located so you could drop off bags from shopping or simply go in for a clean bathroom. Taxi cab early AM to Grand Central Station was $6

This was a weekend in NYC that we won. Recently redone hotel. Very Euro kind of look. Lobby is dark, lighting is very high and not enough. We had a king sized room and it was very nice. Could use more electrical outlets in the rooms [most hotels]. Comfortable bed. Heating is very 'touchy'. You have to crank it up to 75 & leave the fan on auto for it to really heat the room. Then is blows cold when the heat turns off. No breakfast with the room. Also no wi-fi [they charge for it in the room, free in the lobby (inconvenient)]. But the location is great for Times Square, theater, restaurants, etc.

Room Tip: King sized rooms are the largest, asking for a quiet room does not work, you are in Times Square &am...

Four nights at this laid back hotel near times square, easy walking to all major sites, theatres within 5 min.
Staff VERY focused on customer service/outcomes. Leak in bathroom got us an upgraded room.
Ambiance a bit like the 60's many people relaxing in lobby.
.

Room Tip: Ask for corner room facing 46th st or room on highest level

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The location of the hotel is goodt. Right on Time Square, but the property absolutely sucks and for the price (we paid $170/nt for a queen size bed which was an upgrade). The hotel is very dated, antique i would say. The rooms are very tiny. With the queen bed in the room, we had no space for anything. On first night, we were in a room where the TV, TV remote and showed did not work. We called the technician, he tried fixing the TV. It worked for a while then shut down again. The room had mold on the corners. Was very upset. The next morning I complained at front desk and asked for a room change which they did and gave me the $20 upgrade to queen bed. The 2nd room was better but still very very tiny. Me and my wife could not fit in the bathroom at the same time... literary, we were in a hurry but still had to take turns... the TV in the new room did not work well as well....The beds in both the rooms were crappy. Me and my wife had neck aches by day 2. The rooms have no fridge and room internet is charged.
All said, for $170 a night i expected a much better experience which i would have enjoyed in any brand name hotels around..

Stay away from the property... there are plenty of brand name hotels around and for $170/nt. i believe I was ripped off..

Other than enduring the constant loud music playing throughout the common areas of the hotel, our stay was enjoyable at this well located hotel in Times Square-until check out. Upon returning to our room to retrieve our luggage ten minutes before checkout, we found that our key cards did not open our room door. Other guests were having the same problem. When I went to the main desk to resolve the issue now at the peak volume period of check out, the clerk serving my queue got her purse and left the building leaving those in line to be served by only two remaining clerks.

We have been there 6days in november! Too expensive, not a good room (superior queen) small and dirty! And more then 10 business days to release your credit card!! As you come in the lobby you think that's perfect... but you should wait to see the rooms!! The only good thing is the location and the coffee in the corso café next to it!! Don't waiste your money! Don't go there!!
