“Large rooms, convenient location to theatres”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2014

If you want to be in Times Square, you cannot go wrong in this location.

The room I stayed in was large and comfortable. There was enough space to add an extra bed and still have walking space. Everything was reasonably clean and worked well. No complaints.

Room service was adequate, if a bit pricey. Wi-fi is chargeable and expensive. My mobile phone on T-Mobile had difficulty working in the room, this made it hard to keep in contact with colleagues on whatsapp and so on.

Lifts are very slow though, and with large tour groups, you have to wait for an empty lift. Having engagements with colleagues made this bothersome.

Staff were suitably polite and suitably distant for big city folk. This is New York.

Dear worddict,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the Millennium Broadway Hotel New York.

While nothing to complain about is good we would prefer to give you something to rave about!

Charge for the internet? True…but for your convenience you do get up to four (4) devices and remember that Wi-Fi in the lobby level of the hotel is complimentary. Nice……..

Sometimes with the business of the hotel, the elevators will take a little extra time. Hope it did not inconvenience you too much.

Thank you for choosing the hotel with the best location ever!!!!!!!! Next time, let me help with the planning. Just contact me directly and it will be my pleasure to assist.

Again thank you for choosing the Millennium Broadway Hotel New York and we welcome an opportunity to serve you again in the near future.

Sincerely,

Melanie Turner

Slow and Slow elevators, very frustrating.
Laundry service delayed, cleaning service incosistent, breakfast just ordinary
BUT, a big BUT, very convenient just a few seconds to Times Square and other turist spots.
Friendly staffs I enjoyed a lot.
Comfortable beds, OK bathroom, needs improvement in shower system too old.

Room Tip: avoid rooms closer to elevators which are noisy

Here over Easter weekend with my daughter. Great location for the sites. Staff really friendly and helpful. Only downside nowhere to sit in the lobby to exploit the free wifi and lobby often full of folk doing exactly that. Hotel provided a fridge for the room so we were able to stock up on drinks and fruit and keep it cold.

Greetings Jayne S,

Thank you so much for giving your 5 star review of your stay at our hotel!! We greatly appreciate your feedback.

We are sorry to hear that you did not find comfortable seating to access our internet in our lobby. For future reference, we do also offer seating on our second floor near our business center where you can easily access our wireless network.

Hope to see you again soon!

Stayed T. Millenium in London so thought this hotel would be similar. Not so.Had emailed hotel to say visiting with friend and we would like our rooms to be as close together as they could manage no message had been left at reception but eventually two very nice assistants managed to give us adjoining rooms. Our rooms were cleanish but dated and worn, the word tatty comes to mind as in fact was the whole hotel. People in opposite rooms had had room service and their discarded tray stayed on the floor outside their room for several days.We had to ask for coffee making facility and once brought including the paper cupsx3 they were never topped up. Cleaning whilst we were there was basic making of bed and emptying of bins, no special attention paid to anything in this hotel. When leaving we were persuaded to use hotel car to the airport at just a few dollars more than a cab but once on the way the driver increased that amount by adding a tunnel toll which the taxis do as well but that is inclusive in the price, so thus made the car much more expensive and really no more comfortable. I could not seriously recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed here for a couple of days at a good price for NY- Room was in the Premier Tower and the perks were pretty nice. The room was fairly large for NY but not particularly clean- there was crud in the shower and there was no shower curtain initially. The pluses were the concierge and other staff assigned to this tower and they were excellent. The continental breakfast and social hour with beer and wine was nice. Can't beat the location of this hotel- close to Times Square, the theater district and metro-

My family and I, total of 4, recently stayed at this hotel for 1 night. We were able to successfully bid on Priceline for 1 room with 2 beds. The hotel staff, location, and public areas were very nice. The hotel is basically somewhat behind the Toys R Us store. I would like to give special kudos to the daytime doorman (can't remember his name, but African American male who said he had numerous kids). He was extremely polite, helpful, and professional. Unfortunately, the room was definitely not upper class. The bathroom, as previously mentioned by another reviewer, was disgusting. The bathtub/shower tiles had mold on them, the bathroom light had caked on layer of dust, and they only provide 1 bar of soap to be used in the sink and shower. The mini-fridge was unplugged and completely empty (room had a sign stating it was a mini-bar) and the room did not have an alarm clock/radio. We paid $200 for a Saturday night stay. It would have been a disappointment if we had to pay full price. My guess would be they must have these subpar rooms for lower priced rates. If paying full price, choose another hotel.

This hotel is snugged a block from Time Square. In fact, we had a birds-eye view of this famous NYC block. Room was small but adequate since we only used it to sleep at night. Plenty of action at night just by stepping outside the hotel doors.
