“Great Hotel for a quick get away”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

The hotel was great, we stayed here for the weekend, the inside of the hotel is very nice, typical upscale hotel for new york city. people were very friendly and got checked in and up the the room very quick. you get a meal voucher for breakfast in the morning, however the voucher did not cover the whole meal and still paid a little on the top. parking you have to park in a parking garage, and that was expensive, paid a little over $100.00 for the whole weekend. the room was very nice. the only complaint I had was we had a bottle of crown, and two glasses but no ice. so i went out in the hallway looking for an ice machine, now where in sight. went back into the room and called down to the front desk and asked them about ice, they told me they would have room service bring it up. sooo, 45 minutes later the room service guy came up and knocked on the door. i gave him my ice bucket (standard hotel ice bucket) he filled it from a bin he had on a cart, and then gave it back to me and looked at me like i was suppose to tip him for bringing me frozen water. Yeah right keep on dreaming. other than the ice incident, the hotel was great i would stay here again, but i might bring a bag of ice from the store and put it in y luggage bag and put it in the freezer in the fridge in the room.

We had a partial view of Times Square. At the end of the block is a 3 story toys r us with an indoor Ferris wheel, all kinds of shops for mom, subway is less than a block away, a movie theater, Disney store and Dave and busters! A few blocks from the garment district value shops and fabrics and in The bell man told us about Tonys Italian on the next block. and it was Great! A fridge was bright to our room at no charge. The bed was cosy, there was a full bath . The carpet was stained is the only bad thing I would say. I would defiantly stay again. The staff was friendly. Elevators were fast.

Booked as a cheap package in UK through Expedia. Attracted by location and price and dismissed some of negative feedback already posted on TA. On arrival, met by friendly staff, room was larger than expected, huge flat screen TV, with comfortable king size bed and free in-room safe. Only downside was booked a non-smoking room (floor 18 out of 50+) and room had no view. Didn't use the restaurant as there was a more than adequate deli across the road. Only minor niggle was on checking out had to wait several times for a lift (all full by the time they arrived at 18th floor) - maid suggested taking the up lift first, which worked! No problems leaving luggage after check-out for picking up later in the day. Free wi-fi in lobby area ($12.95 per day in room).
Would be more than happy to stay again as hotel is modern, in the perfect location, has many restaurants in close vicinity and friendly staff.

My friend and I go to NYC for the theatre, Opera and museums, at least once a year. I picked the Millennium Broadway for its location, not realizing it had entrances on 44th and 45th Streets. This proved a happy surprise and made for an easy walk to all of the Broadway theatres, Sardi's, Orso and Joe Allen's, our favorite restaurants. Not having to allow time for flagging a taxi and inching through Times Square pre-theatre traffic made for a relatively carefree visit. Our room on the 44th floor was handsome, well laid out and had a truly breathtaking view of Manhattan. The staff and chambermaids were pleasant and helpful, the public areas were immaculately maintained. My only complaint was the WiFi surcharge, which at a punative daily rate, I declined to use. With the room rate of $375. per day, the Millennium might considering comping WiFi.

Room Tip: The higher up, the better, though the fan in our heating unit was a bit noisy.

You could not ask for a better location. After reading some of the poor reviews on this hotel I was concerned before I arrived... however all that changed the minute we walked in! Great service from the front desk, clean, modern room with beautiful views of Time Square. Great restaurants, theatre, shopping, and attractions are all within walking distance. I would absolutely stay here again!!

Room Tip: get a corner room on a high floor for great views of Times Square and better quality

Won this by bid on priceline for $262/night. Big disappointment. The only good thing about it is it is next door to Starbucks. It looks like it has not been remodeled since the 80s when black marble was popular. It is dark, out-of-date and the service was lacking. Would not stay again.

Disappointed of the lobby- even during "Sandy' the guests were sitting on stairs, luggage trolleys and floor of the lobby because no seat facility was available for hotel guests. Also at lunch time - because the breakfast room was closed- there was not enough seating area for the hotel guests being forced to stay there. Not enough staff during check-in times, resulting in long queues. We would not stay again there.

Room Tip: new wing rooms
