Check in was efficient and bags were delivered to the room promptly. We chose a King Deluxe room which was a good size although not huge. The room was tastefully appointed as was the bathroom which had an excellent shower and lovely Kiehls amenities. The bed was great, very comfortable.

Concierge was very helpful and arranged some theatre tickets (Book of Mormon is hilarious but quite filthy!!) and restaurant reservations for us, Christmas lunch at Balthazar very good indeed!! The doormen were polite and helpful.

The hotel is in a great location for shopping and restaurants, nearby is a good wine shop in Spring Street and also a laundry in Thompson street itsself if you need any clothes cleaned at a much better price than the fairly expensive hotel service.

Excellent restaurants nearby include Balthazar, Osteria Morini and Peasant. Within the hotel Kittichai has excellent Thai food.

Only slight issues were due to the age of the hotel, our bathroom door handle was nearly falling off and there was some wear and tear around one of the windows, no big drama though.

Loved the area and the hotel and will be back one day.

We spent three nights and had a wonderful stay. Clean room. Wonderful bed with lots of pillows. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. They advised us on good restaurants for lunch and dinner, booked tables... I asked for a quiet room, and so it was. .Will definitely stay here next time we go to NYC.

Everything you'd want a great hotel to be. Great service. Near some really great places to dine, too!

I stayed at 60 Thompson on a one day business trip to NYC and fond the property to be of a high standard with friendly and attentive service. My room was a decent size for NYC and the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was the sort of clean modern design you'd expect of a cutting edge boutique hotel.

My only slight negative was the hotel charged me for a drink that I did not have from the minibar. I mailed the hotel and to their credit refunded my credit card in a cople of days.

In summary I wold highly recommend this establishment.
