We spent three nights and had a wonderful stay. Clean room. Wonderful bed with lots of pillows. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. They advised us on good restaurants for lunch and dinner, booked tables... I asked for a quiet room, and so it was. .Will definitely stay here next time we go to NYC.

Everything you'd want a great hotel to be. Great service. Near some really great places to dine, too!

I stayed at 60 Thompson on a one day business trip to NYC and fond the property to be of a high standard with friendly and attentive service. My room was a decent size for NYC and the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was the sort of clean modern design you'd expect of a cutting edge boutique hotel.

My only slight negative was the hotel charged me for a drink that I did not have from the minibar. I mailed the hotel and to their credit refunded my credit card in a cople of days.

In summary I wold highly recommend this establishment.

A great hotel and a funky bar, fab location for a New York break however.... our first night was in a room above the bar which meant hearing the bass of the DJ until well into the early hours, not great when wanting to adjust for jet lag. I could have named the tunes it was so noisy. We asked to move rooms to a higher floor which solved it but be warned, their plumbing is really noisy especially if you are in one of the rooms in the back left corner. Big clunks (like air in pipes) everytime loo used anywhere in that vertical block it seemed. Funnily enough my neighbour has stayed there and said exactly the same thing. These are no the cheapest rooms either. Don't go for rooms ending in a 3 though the rooms are really great.
We ended up treking with our bags to the end of the road as getting a taxi very early morning seemed beyond the door mans capability!
