Stay was an excellent hotel to stay at! We were on the 7th floor in a corner room, which I heard were the most spacious. We had a very comfortable bed which provided much needed sleep each night. The staff was great and even awarded us 2 complimentary drinks and free chocolate covered strawberries due to it being our 2nd anniversary. Thank yous go out to Angie and the other female associate who helped us check in. Unfortunately we ran out of time and were unable to redeem the gifts, but it was a very nice gesture none-the-less. The hotel was only a couple of blocks from the heart of Times Square and very convenient to the subway/restaurants/etc.

I guess I had higher hopes for this hotel, even though it is only a 2.5-3 star rating. The lobby is fantastic, nice quality finishes and atmosphere. Staff were nice and helpful, although they seemed a little busy and rushed through my questions. Location is great.

I know that I read this in the reviews, but the rooms are small, very small. We were upgraded for free to a larger room (I think just the basic with a "Queen" bed), I can't imagine what the smaller room looked like. I've stayed in Rome, and these are by far smaller. Small closet, no dresser, my wife and I had to put clothes under the bedside tables, or just leave in our luggage, which we also had no where to put. If I wanted to hit the bathroom at night, I had to climb over my luggage. Seriously. Again, nice quality finishes though, although the floor was pretty uneven, and a particular low spot would loudly squeak every time you walked over it.

The bathroom was okay, pretty small (no surprise). Absolutely no place to put toiletries. Shower was adequate, never had problems with hot water.

While there is a flat screen tv in the room, the quality of the cable/satellite feed was horrible. A/C worked great, almost too cold at times.

And yes, there is a club on the ground floor. We were on the 5th floor, and after coming in each night around midnight, we could definitely hear the music in our room. I am inclined to think that the hotel puts more emphasis and priority on the club than the guest rooms (the club looked really nice by the way).

Again, had high hopes for this hotel. My wife and I are young, urban, modern tastes. Just didn't come away satisfied.

I had a fun weekend in the Big Apple with family two weeks ago. We loved staying in Times Square. We enjoyed our experience at Stay - it has a very fun, hip lobby and the cool Aspen Social Club is connected at the front door. The rooms run on the small side but we didn't mind because we came to enjoy the city not sit in our rooms. The staff was very friendly and nice, especially Tom (forget last name) who cracked us up and was so helpful. We has no problems at all and would definitely stay here again. Amenities in the room were nice and liked the bose speakers and plasma TV. It was the perfect location for our trip. I noticed that the staff from this hotel comment and respond to various tripadvisors. I haven't seen that before, kuddos to them!

Hotel is right off Times Square as advertised, and a hip feel in the lobby. Staff was very nice. Beyond that, the room was extremely small even by New York standards, 10 feet by 10 feet at best. Shower was industrial and at least two electrical outlets didn't work. Definitely a 3 star hotel as listed here, I bought on Hotwire where it's listed as four star so my expectations were a bit too high coming in (hotwire consistently overrates hotels' star levels, based on this and previous experiences). Overall a decent place to stay if you're 1 or maybe 2 people and just looking for a place to crash for the night.

Stayed there one night (we had booked for two). The small room wasn't an issue....the condom wrapper on the floor, stained sheets, and a toilet that didn't flush was.......
