“Very small & out of date”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

I read previous reviews and saw people say the room was small but I didn't expect something so drastic. Very cramped for two adults. Out of date, uncomfortable bed. I wouldn't stay here again. the staff was very nice but just not a place for me.

Great location, small rooms, lots of noise from the street at night, air conditioner very loud, staff played dumb when ask about free parking listing on front page of expedia ad. even when I showed them ad, they knew nothing so it cost me $ 49 per day to park my car. if you just want a basic place to lay your head at night it will be fine, leave you car at home. its too much of a hassle to mess with it.

Room Tip: ask for a room away from the street

I was on business travel and need an itemized receipt to get reimbursed. I asked three front desk employees for a receipt and they refused, saying they absolutely could not. Then my travel agent contacted them five times to ask, and they did not answer.

Bed uncomfortable.

Loud construction noise starting at 7 am.

The room we stayed just like bed for the night. Don't expect much from hotel it says breakfast provided but they provide only bagel with butter and coffee and that pizza shop staff too was very rude. Even in the room the shower takes too much time to get hot water and plus no WiFi available. Also bed we had in room was quite noisy. Just because of the location we stayed there but if you get good deal without breakfast then its good to take that deal because including breakfast is not worth at all. Overall average hotel just good point is u can get nearby subways on walking distance to explore all places in Manhattan and also to JFK or Newark airport.

Although the location of this property is convenient to central park, the hotel itself is very unkept. The front desk person was completely rude and un-helpful. Got a double bed room (about 250 sq.ft.), as I get to my door, you can tell door has been broken into in the past. There was a huge creese where the door had been pryed open. As soon as I get in room, you can smell the filth. Bedspread's are at least 10-15 years old and worn out ,and the sheets were not changed as I found a set of car keys between the sheets. A.C. unit in window was worthless, and leaked a pond to the floor right next to bed. You also couldn't close window shades because of the A.C. set-up. Television could only get several stations , which kept loosing signal. When I called front desk, to complain about these things, they always had an excuse that they couldn't get it fix at that moment. I could go on complaining about this hotel...would never stay here again...would rather sleep with a blanket in the park.

On arrival staff were far from welcoming, the room we stayed in didn't have any natural light. We literally used this place as a bed for the night. I wouldn't recommend if you want more from your hotel. It says continental breakfast - Do not expect much - It is from the pizza shop next door and all they offer is a bagel with butter or cheese on it with a coffee, you have to pay if you want anything else. The only thing we liked about this hotel was the location!

This was the worst experience I've had staying anywhere, even in the ghetto in a foreign country. This place is so gross. Couldn't sleep at all and couldn't get refund. There are so many noises, due to their crappy wall unit air conditioner from the 1950s. It's an old, smelly and disgusting place to stay. Nothing was clean and I hope you don't make the mistake of coming here.
