No real complaints about this property. The biggest plus was the free wifi, which is great! It was pretty close to everything (restaurants, fast food) and not far from the subway. It is about a 15 minute walk to Times Square, which doesn't sound like much until it's 2am and you're freezing and dying to get home :) The room itself was clean and nice. The bathroom definitely needed renovating, but the rest of the room was good. Large flat screen TV, a computer desk, arm chair and comfy bed. Overall, a very good base for your Manhattan adventure!

No complains - everything worked ok, plus free internet, walking distance from all down-town locations which we wanted to visit. No m/w or fridge, limited number of blankets, mutiple-used linens - but all these are tolerable for such a little price, considering the location!

They even had a small fitness room - crowded with machines, but manageable, all in working condition.

We arrived at 11:30am after a cruise and room was ready. It was New Years Eve and I was glad to get my luggage to room. The room was big unlike most NYC hotels. There are 2 towers and I think all of the construction will be done on both towers sometime in 2013. The room had a large flat screen TV. It was the perfect location to walk to Central Park, Lincoln Center and the upper west side. All subways are very near by. The staff was very helpful. I booked over 11 months out so for NYE we got an amazing price in NYC. I am glad the security staff was checking room keys at 1:00am on NYE.

We picked this hotel because of the price and indeed it was worth what we paid. Some reviews are not so good but my party thought the hotel was fine. There is some shabbiness in the decor but the rooms are very clean, beds comfy and most of the staff very helpful. By staying here (instead of a Times Square Hotel) we freed up enough cash to do everything we wanted to do: lots of tours; broadway show; helicopter ride; New Years eve dinner dance cruise and limo home. Wonderful and a holiday of a lifetime. Not so good: angry waiter in hotel restaurant whose behavior was an embarrassment; the bell hop service who wanted $300 for a taxi there and back for cruise on New Year's Eve. We got a taxi outside the hotel very easily ($10) and a limo was waiting for returning cruise guests ($80) with generous tips, we were $180 up on the quote. Beware.
