Our stay at the Hotel Elysee for 4 nights was absolutely perfect. The location, the charm and character, the service and the courteous staff made our trip all the better. The fact we could slip across the road to Bill's Gay Nineties Restaurant and Piano Bar added to the success of our trip. We will always come back to the Hotel Elysee when in New York City and it is the only hotel we would suggest to others looking to book in NYC. It is a quiet, intimate and sophisticated gem.

This is our second trip to NYC. We stayed in Affinia 50 in 2006 and decided to check out Hotel Elysee this time. It was awesome.
The staff are VERY courteous and accomodating. I called them to request a balcony (during booking) and although the lady that I spoke to could not promise it at that time, I did get a balcony on the 14th floor. There was a bottle of red wine waiting for us and chocolates! A nice treat to a couple celebrating an anniversary.
Our room was certainly lovely. It smelled of gardenia...
Our bed is comfy and there is a fridge available. Also got a high-end flat-screened tv.
The Hotel offers a scrumptious breakfast on the second floor each morning. Healthy choices starting from the huge bowl of fresh fruits. The staff continously replenished the food and maintained the place immaculately clean.
Our experience with Hotel Elysee is 100 percent positive! I highly recommend it to everyone.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Elysee Hotel.
The outstanding service and hotel room both exceeded our expectations. The fact that this is a small "Boutique" hotel only added to our excellent overall impressions. The breakfast and early evening aperifitif were unexpected and greatly added to our enjoyment. We shall certainly return to the Elysee Hotel on our next trip to the USA.

We have stayed at the Hotel Elysee seven times in the last seven years and always look forward to going back. It is a wonderful hotel in an ideal, yet quiet location that is convenient to everything in NY. The rooms are comfortable, tasteful and always in excellent condition. The staff is friendly, courteous and always helpful. We really enjoy the complimentary continental breakfast in the lounge. I have recommended this hotel to friends and family and will continue to do so. It is the perfect place to stay in NY.

We have just returned from our first trip to NYC. We spent four days/nights and loved the Hotel Elysee, mainly for its great location. Staff was very accomodating when we requested a room on an upper level at the back as our first night on the fifth floor was disrupted due to garbage trucks and street noise. Everything else about this boutique feeling hotel was excellent. It was recommended to us by friends and we know others who have stayed there and they return as well.
