“A very good hotel in a great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

I thoroughly enjoyed staying almost two weeks at the Hilton Manhattan East on a business trip. Most of all I found the staff very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the bell master and his team. They are always there when you need them, making sure to get you a taxi in no time at all. The building is located near Grand Central Station, and 5th Ave, Park Ave and Lexington are just within easy walking distance. The hotel building itself is rather historic but the hotel has all the amenities you would expect from a more modern construction. After trying a few other places to stay in Manhattan, the Hilton Manhattan East is surely my choice again when going back to New York.

Dear all,
Stayed there this past week to attend a conference nearby. I was welcomed by a beautiful and extremely helpful Christina at the reception. She could not be more accommodating.
During the stay, I was fantastically looked after by Pablo for breakfast, and yet another fabulous helpful young man Kevin at reception who went well beyond the call of duty to provide the best customer service I have experienced so far (I travel quite a lot for business and you can trust my word on this).
The hotel is extremely well located, quite and the rooms are very well equipped, very clean and again great cleaning staff, who are always smiling and helpful.
Well done to you all, you made my trip a real pleasure and would definitely come back here,
With best wishes to you all at the hilton Manhattan East!!!!!
Kind regards
Nadia

This is a huge hotel but the service and rooms are the high standard I have seen in most Hilton properties. Room service however is different as it is from the deli that is in the lobby. Dont expect anything but paper bag and disposable utensils. Rooms were big for NYC and beds were comfortable. Bathroom was older but adequate. Easy to walk to central park or times square. Transportation always available via cab or UBER. Good security late at night.

This is a recently renovated hotel that Hilton now manages. It's not a big hotel by any means. The section I stayed in only has 6 rooms per floor. The rooms are typical New York (small) but nicely appointed. Only hotel I've stayed at in NY in a long time that has a 'home' sized bathtub. Very comfortable bed. Nice desk chair for working.

Breakfast is standard Hilton fare. Hot and cold buffet with a wide selection.

The hotel is quiet. It's on 42, but a couple of blocks from the Chrysler building. Lots of restaurants in the area. (I have tried the hotel restaurant for dinner on prior visits but wasn't impressed).

Arrived tonight, and Jose the doorman really helped us with recommendations for a fabulous Italian restaurant. The hotel itself is low key but in a great location, just steps from the Chrysler building and Grand Central Station. The shuttle we took from La Guardia airport took approximately a half hour, and the rooms are very nicely kitted out, although European in size.

I stay here whenever I can on my frequent visits to NYC. I just checked out today and wanted to give review because my stay was such a pleasant one. This hotel is in a great location, but offers a quieter less hurried atmosphere. The staff is great. I asked for an upgrade being a Hilton Honors Gold member and was upgraded to a larger room. This was a plus for me this trip!! It was so nice and quiet which is so key in NYC. They also provide coffee makers which so many hotels in NYC don't do anymore. I felt quiet relaxed and comfortable. The bathroom was nice and big and all upgraded. They have a nice small bar and lounge area. Again the staff are so nice here. This is my favorite place to stay when I am in NYC The only problem is sometimes I can't get it at a reasonable rate but hey that's NYC.

Room Tip: Ask for large king in a quiet area. If you can afford it go for the balcony room.

We stayed for 8 nights in August 14 ,my husband ,my daughter and I. Very nice hotel and very nice and helpful staff. Very clean. Very close to grand central station and time square. Short walking distance to famous shopping areas and to the lovely Bryant park. Very close to many shops , cafés and restaurants. Internet is free in the lobby. We had a great and memorable stay. I would like to thank Robert Ibanez for taking a great care of us.

Room Tip: The rooms are small so if you need a bigger room be sure about the room choice when making a reserva...
