We had an exquisite room - corner room on the 24th floor. No buildings in the way, so the view was incredible. Everything in the room and hotel tastefully done. Every room has a kitchenette, with two burners, microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, etc. Although we didn't prepare any food other than morning coffee, the Fairway market across the street would be a perfect place to shop. The room was exceptionally large although some of the size is due to its being at the end of the hall and on a corner. Lots of places to sit, work, relax in one room. A closet and a big armoire.
The neighborhood is wonderful. The subway at Broadway and 72nd Street is a minute or two away.
We had brunch at Pasha Restaurant (Turkish) on 71st Street near Columbus Ave., an easy walk from the hotel. Every dish was delicious and interesting. Some of us had breakfast type entrees, others more a meal. Highly recommended for brunch/lunch, but I'm sure it's equally pleasant and tasty at dinner.
