“The food was "scrumpious"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

We went to Blue Man Group at Astor Place then happened upon Cafetasia. The food was some of the BEST Thai food we had ever eaten and the prices were reasonable. Sunday night is all night happy hour, too.

“perfect for a fast lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

friendly staff, finally place to sit in solo! The tom-yum isn't the best in my life, but the apple&duck salad was more than just good. And for this price! And guys, please don't be cheap with the tips if you have good service (the waitress signed with smile and thx next to the tip to be sure she has it...). This is NY. City of tips, be appreciate when you find something good.

“Not a good choice”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

Reasonable prices, but the quality of the food is lacking. The Asian chicken skewers were just disgusting & sent back -mangled chunks dark meat not thoroughly cooked. The fried calamari salad was better, but still not palatable. Squid was not thoroughly cleaned. Great, if you're a 19 year old student & haven't been around the food block!

“Bargain!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

Very tasty and very cheap panAsian dishes make this place very crowded and very noisy, Cheerful servers. Half of NYU seems to live here.

“Mediocre food, unbearable noise”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

I have eaten here many times for work lunches or with friends who decide they want to go there, however, I feel as if the food quality and taste are always poor to average and the decibel/noise level is so loud it makes the experience very unpleasant. Whenever designing a restaurant, never use flat wood paneling on the walls. The sprout salad smelled and tasted like real poo.
