“Good Food and Friendly Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2012

The service is especially friendly here. The food is very good (though less good then at Uskadar on the same block) but the menu is large and the overall experience here is quite good. They seem to go out of their way to accommodate. A real favorite in the neighborhood!

“VERY FLAVORFUL”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2011

I tried this restaurant with my family and I was mmm'in the entire time from the bread on the table to the swordfish kabobs. I have been there several more times and recommend the turkish salad to start and the swordfish kabobs (only thing I've gotten there!). The lemon flavor really comes out in the fish and is so tasty with the mashed potatoes. I've also substituted the potatoes for rice. Portions are decent and always end up full and very happy after eating here.

“Great value, good food and excellent service!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2011 via mobile

Lamb shank was a bit dry but the portion size was generous. Kebabs were excellent - grilled and done just right! Pleasantly surprised wih an excellent service. Take rice pudding for dessert - phenomenal, probably the best dish of the night.

“Brought us back to Istanbul”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2011

Wonderfully prepared Turkish food at a reasonable price with a few Turkish wines - one of which we ordered and found quite pleasing. Sultan's pleasure was true to name, white bean salad was quite pleasing, manti and kebob flavorful and well prepared. And Turkish rice pudding to die for.

“Too many employees socializing and ignoring customers”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2010

Food was excellent. but rude atmosphere. Heard staff make disparaging remarks about departing customers. There were as many employees as customers and it was still hard to get acknowledged at all stations. I had the gyro platter to go. Portions were large enough to make two meals. Get rid of the front of the house "service work is beneath me" employees and give the kitchen raises.
