“Breezing out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2012

Wanted to take my sister to a restaurant as I was visiting for a week. We had to wait about half an hour for a table, at 9.30 p.m., but took advantage of the bar in the meantime. Drinks were on point. We were seated and our attendant was polite, knowlegeable, and cute! The dj played great jams, which I enjoyed, and I liked that this restaurant seemed kid-friendly as well. The jade dumplings were tasty; the wings as well. Overall, great food. The wait could've been shorter. The Thai coffee was a bit too sweet for me. They should have an unsweetened option. I'll visit again.

“Trendy vibe good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2012

We had a good time at Sea. We got a table right away at around 10:30 on Saturday night. The service was very slow at first because the place was packed but it got better once the waiter took our order. The food was good. I had the geyser shrimp clay pot with vermicelli noodles and it was really good, light yet filling. The steamed veggies with it were really great. The atmosphere was awesome. It right near the meat packing district so everyone was dressed in club attire and the music was good (loud but good). We didn't get to experience the club above the restaurant because it didn't open until 12:30 am and we didn't want to wait around. All in all, decently priced, good food and nice sexy environment ( if you like trendy clubs/restaurants).

“Not Authentic Thai!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2012

This is at best good Chinese food. After eating at REAL Thai places abroad, this place doesn't come close. It does have a great atmosphere though, but we were looking for Thai and didn't get it.

“Worth the long wait.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2012

After waiting nearly a half hour for a table fairly early on a Saturday evening, we were treated to a surprisingly great Thai meal. The duck puffs were excellent and full of flavor. The sliced beef was perfectly spicy and tender. Our entree, Rama king was absolutely delicious and the portions were large. Only gripe was the Thai iced tea tasted like the tea was sitting a while too long. Service was pretty speedy once seated and there is no better value in the city. A mere $60 for 3 including appetizers and drinks! Don't expect romance or a quiet dinner here. The lights are turned down to near pitch black and the club music is deafening. I thought a dance floor would open up any moment. All in all, the food was great and well worth the long wait.

“Great food, drink and atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2011

Went with a large group of friends from Long Island. Excellent atmosphere, very nice thai food and as has been said by other reviewers, great mojitos.
