I don't know much about Thai food, so kept my order basic with chicken pad thai. It was pretty tasty--big portion, too. And everything was very reasonably priced.
Three things, however, were awkward:
1. The restaurant is tiny. I know it's NY, but i'm talking so tiny, in fact, that the people moving around to get into their seats, or servers delivering/removing plates, are squeezing their backsides between the tables, and thus all over the other seated diners. Awkward.
2. We asked for water to drink, and it came in a carafe with three shot glasses from which we were meant to drink. Seriously. Those little double-shot glasses. So i have two sips of water, then i pour. Sip, Pour. AWKWARD.
3. Ready for it? They only take cash and American Express. ONLY AMEX. Who. Does. That. So now, as we happened to be the kind of folks who only have Visa, Mastercard, and like three bucks in cash, had to go around the corner [in freezing rain] to use the ATM so we could pay for dinner. REALLY AWKWARD.
